I routinely dream that the trigger-pull on my Glock is something on the order of about 100-lbs... makes for interesting times.

Last night, however, I was in the middle of The Great Escape, digging a tunnel to FREEDOM! Except there were penguins. And penguins do not dig so well...

Now you've got me wondering if I can finger pull 100lb...
When I was at Camp LeJeune, the weight-room there had a grip-machine, consisting of two small bars attached to weight plates. Squeeze the bars together, lift the plates. I was doing sets of 15 reps at 100 lbs... that's about what the trigger pull feels like in my dreams

on account of the flippers.

On monday I started what is probably one of my stupider projects ever: a secret webcomic. It's on the internet, but I'm not sharing it because I want to see how much time I can resist without sharing it on facebook (but I may tell the url to close friends, even if I'm trying not to, it wouldn't be against "the rules".

It's based on pictures of doodle comics I do about daily events or random thoughts about my life. It's all very underground.

Someone mentioned armyworms today, and in my typical fashion I head to google to see if I can find any odd facts about them. I came across a recipe for armyworm wine. I'm now torn as to whether or not I want to try and make it. I don't think I'd even be able to find enough worms for it now, and I can't imagine what all those dead worm carcasses would look like after fermenting for seven days, but my curiosity is now nagging at me to try it.

I saw a TV ad the other day that had me puzzled for a bit.. There was a traffic jam on a hot day. A beautiful woman in a nice skirt LEAPS from her car and RUNS up to an 18-wheeler with MAGNUM printed on the side...

I was thinking that if that woman needed that many condoms that desperately... some one was going to have one hell of a weekend...

It turned out to be a new Ice Cream Brand named for a condom.

I'm using a desktop after a year of exclusively using a laptop. The 19" widescreen monitor is HUGE! lol

Is this the same Magnum ice creams we have around here? They are pretty standard around here, and they are even used to define the "style" of Ice-cream ("is it a cone, an ice cream sandwitch, a popsicle or a magnum?")
Same company, same style, making a big push to make a name for themselves in the United States. I have no idea if the quality is the same here as it is elsewhere (though I'm guessing not, since most of us here are so used to crap that we'll eat anything as long as it's got enough salt and sugar added.)

They're also known as Good Humor over here in the US. It's all part of the same company.

I can't even get past the 3rd post. Gragglbdhl.

I got a backwards hug from an elderly man at work today. Better than getting my ass grabbed. He was telling a waitress a joke, and while he was laughing, he grabbed me and hugged me and shook me around a little. Laughing REALLY hard at his own joke, funny little dude. His arms and hands were WAY above my breasts, so it didn't really make me feel uncomfortable, just... surprised. I just kind of smiled and wished him a good day, and he did the same. Interesting.

Seej, power through it. They use commas instead of periods, are prone to run-on sentences, and occasionally have incomplete thoughts.

My favorite is " exactly, like, i kid u not , i could live my entire life and NEVER know what quantum mechanics, or string theory,"
