It is on.
The Medieval Market.
Four days of performing as a Medieval person, living in the fair city of Turku in 1385 AD. The forecast promises heat, maybe a little drizzle on Friday and then a downpour on Sunday. The air will be thick with the scent of roasted almonds, pig-on-a-spit, dust and the collected vapors of tens of thousands of people packed in a small area. There will be cries and calls, tears and laughter. There will be legs that feel like bloody stumps, backs that need a good rest, throats that have gone hoarse from projecting one's voice in the wrong way, sunburns in that one place where you didn't put the lotion, aches in places you didn't know could or would hurt, dehydration and madness, madness I tells ya!
It's gonna be awesome.
