Thanks Chibi. You're a gentleman and a scholar.congrats bro!
Thank you so much balloon man.Congratulations!
Thanks Mr. Viking.Congratulations, you strange, strange person you
Thanks for all the advice my asian sensation.Haha yeah, Mike's first time in Vegas over 21... he blew $200 playing Blackjack just once. He thought it would be easy and I was not there to "supervise". He just came back saying, "Okay I'm stupid. I'm broke."
The last time we went to Vegas was amazing, though! Mike did pretty okay with a quarter machine and cashed out before things started going wrong. Played some weird game where there's $1, $2, 5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 on the table with a big wheel to spin. Put money on a bill, spin the wheel, maybe win some money! He got $100 from that one, and we left to find something else.
Our friend said to play 3 card poker. "It's my favorite. Just give them money, she'll put down some cards, and you don't have to do anything." They played twice. The first time, nothing. Second time, he had a straight flush and won $250!
Some how we ended up finding a place with nickle machines and I got $150 from one. We ended up buying our friends breakfast (we were up until 5am-ish?).
Just don't get sucked into slot machines. You'll start doing well then that can take a very wrong turn. Be smart and cash out before you lose it all!
Thank you! Your forum nickname makes me smile.Congratulations Jay!
Thanks Darryl.Congratulations, Jay!
And small weddings = less headache. Enjoy.
More like dark blue. Heavily used over the past decade. Thanks.So...?

Western Canucks aren't as funny as they think they are.Big congrats Jay, are you taking her name?
ThanxGrats!
Thanks!Congrats!
Indeed, about time. However, it was never a question of commitment, as I knew I wanted to marry her over 4 years ago. We just are a new-age couple that wanted to take our time to get married and settled down. We wanted to do it at our pace, not the Church's.Congrats! Eight years is "'bout damn time" time. Afraid of the commitment, perhaps?
Seriously, man. Congrats. Many happy years to you both.
Thanks Mr. Blotsfan. That sounds like a great wedding. Congrats!
Ummm... thanks Pat.Give each other Hell. You've earned it.

Tell me where to buy crack?Been to Vegas 4 times in the past year. Been to 3 differrent Cirque de Soleil as well as Penn and Teller. Stayed in Bellagio penthouse, NYNY, Monte Carlo and Planet Hollywood. Happy to answer questions
That sounds like an excellent idea. Anything else?Go downtown at night at least once. It's like a full time party going on there - I had some of my most fun there. If nothing else you can stare at the pretty lights above your head.
I'm not a gambler either, but did have a lot of fun playing craps. There are a lot of rules, but once you get the hang of it, it can be a pretty fun, communal game experience. And, you can find the 3 dollar tables where you don't end up spending much.
Penn and Teller have a live show that runs nightly where they do some of their most famous acts coupled with Penn's usual rants about rights and freedoms. It's very enjoyable if you're a fan (with some opportunities for audience participation. If you have an Iphone, you may get to go on stage!)Tell me where to buy crack?
No seriously, tell me about your experiences there. Tips. Costs for shows? Tips on having a better time. Penthouse? How much? Shows? Which shows? How much? Crack? Penn and Teller? The TV show?
You'll have to explain. I turned all sigs off after the Great Sig War of 2009Gun Store?
Ummmm... (sig)
You'll have to explain. I turned all sigs off after the Great Sig War of 2009
You'll have to explain even more now that I see it than when I just assumed there were badgers in your sig.
When I say "Gun Store" I guess I neglect to mention "Gun Range" at the same time. You get a stack of ammo for a multitude of guns and you take your aggressions out on targets shaped like zombies. The question really is "Why WOULDN'T you want to visit a Gun Store?"Why would I want to visit a Gun Store?
I'm Canadian.
for really fun physics lessons. Why would I want to visit a Gun Store?
Seconded. I saw them a few years ago. Definitely worth going to see.Congrats!!
Pen & Teller. Definitely.

Yes, they have been performing in Vegas for quite a while now.
I have to agree with this. you be surprise what free stuff (no strings attach if you play your cards right)First off, Félicitations, mon ami!
When my wife and I were there, we took some advice from one of my sergeants: Sign up to hear one of the time-share salesperson's spiels. You go, look at some property that you're never going to invest in for a couple hours, and they load you down with tickets to shows, Grand Canyon etc... Depending on what you're feeling up for, it might not be a bad idea to look into it.
Also, I know you said gambling isn't your thing, but it's still fun to give it a whirl once... just, as has already been stated, you don't play unless you're willing to write off the money from the get-go. Also, leave your credit card behind!
Cirque du Soleil was FANTASTIC when I was there (Kà, WELL worth seeing, if it's still playing), we caught a couple smaller shows.
The only bad thing I can think of is that Circus Circus was supposed to be closing shortly after we left, so you're missing out on one of my favorite casinos there (the free circus show was awesome to see.)
I'm open to many cuisines. My favorite or Lebanese/Greek however. Szechuan and whatnot.Helicopter flight would be fun. It's about 4-5 hours door to door so it's a good use of the day, leaving the morning/evening for other shenanigans. I don't know what kind of food you like so I can't comment on restaurants. On a gondola? You could have it out on the street if you wanted; it's Vegas.
Thanks Kaggie. <3OOhh, congrats so much!!! I hope everything goes perfectly for you!
