Minor victory thread

My boss has left for Toronto until the weekend and is going to Minnesota for 2-3 days next week. Which means the workload I get is lighter and if I have questions about it for him, I don't really work on anything until he replies.

Work might be simultaneously stress-free and boring for the next few days. Calling it a minor win for now. :)

I bought a safty razor online today. I shouldn't be this excited about it but I am. Fuck buying triple, quad, whatever, 20 blade too many cartridges that come in 4 packs costing 40 bucks each.

I got a razor, boar hair brush and shaving soap. I went low end since this is my first set but if it works out well I might spring for a better one later down the road. I just need to pick up a cheap mug or two for the lather and to keep it all in.

Woke up, moving trucks are next door. Came home, neighbors lights are off, no cars in the driveway.... he gone?

I CAN FEEL THE POWER

So I was having a kinda crappy day, feeling like shit because of the flu. Quick nap this afternoon and a random act of kindness to some fellow forumites and I feel a hell of a lot better.

My sister is visiting. I think... I think she has stolen all my dirty dishes. I'm certain that when I left this morning, they were still in the sink and on the kitchen table. When I came back just now, they were gone. Not a plate, not a cup, not a single dirty dish in sight.

I wouldn't like to believe it, but who else could it have been? I mean, should I confront her, and demand to know what she has done to all my dirty dishes?

I had to double check if this was the rant thread or not.

Now I shall laugh: Hahaha! :D

Geez, man up. Ask her out already.

Well. This exchange has certainly taken on characteristics which ex ante I neither expected nor foresaw.

"Excuse me, Mr. Freud? There's this one internet forum that I'd appreciate if you could take a look at..."
