I'd love to see a meeting between Tarquin and bone breath. 
I can just see them stretched out over a slow action sequence. Tarquin slooowly turns his head to almost casually glance over his left shoulder. His expression, now hidden from Malack, sliiiides into a knowing smirk directed at nothing...at least evidently.

It's going to make things be extremely dramatic, leading the way to showdown between the father and the son that the father likes. It's exactly what Elan would have wanted.
Knowing what kind of comic this is, when comes to a showdown...
Ether Tarquin's not going to get the showdown he wants or someone else in the Order (probably Haley) is going to kill him mid-speech just to get him to shut the fuck up. The author really loves to subvert tropes whenever he can.
