Or Miranda or countless other characters that have meant more than the great grand-whatever of Kurtz's D&D character.
I know, right? Anyone who is new and goes into the Brent-Jade wedding stuff won't have the slightest idea who that chick Francis is talking to is.Or Miranda or countless other characters that have meant more than the great grand-whatever of Kurtz's D&D character.
Dear God, so much thisHonestly, the only reason I really read PvP is because I don't bookmark the comics I read, and the URL kind of flows from my fingers out of habit.
Okay I'm calling bullshit on this one.Honestly, the only reason I really read PvP is because I don't bookmark the comics I read, and the URL kind of flows from my fingers out of habit.
Like . . . Nick's . . . prom night?. . . idle hands are Kurtz's playthings.
I never type URLS any more, I have favorites or RSS feeds that do everything for me... but if I'm at an unfamiliar computer, my hands revert to habits from 10 years ago, and when I try to think of a URL to type, one of the first ones to come up is pvponline.com, from back when he hosted our forums.Okay I'm calling bullshit on this one.
Seriously!? "I don't like the comic guys, not at all, the only reason I still go is because idle hands are Kurtz's playthings." What!?

I don't hate the comic. I just have no particular interest in it. But when I'm idly at my computer, my hands tend to type out giantitp.com, penny-arcade.com, gunnerkrigg.com, starslip.com, pvponline.com, smbc-comics.com and gigaville.com (an extremely-poorly-drawn comic called "last days of foxhound" used to be at that last one. Now it's some weird poorly-drawn flash game.)Okay I'm calling bullshit on this one.

You know... it occurs to me that Kurtz may have forgotten he's even got a character named Marcy in his comic. Where is she in this big company shake-up?Marcy isn't even on the cast page.
At least the bus comes by all the time.PvP is chock full of Chuck Cunninghams.
Probably for a week or two, taking place next month. Not the entire monthAccording to today's Penny Arcade, they'll be doing PVP next month. True?
Yeah, the main character pretty much has no redeeming qualities... and yet I can't ke the feeling that the authors want us to like him, but didn't realize the character needed to actually be sympathetic for that to work.At least the bus comes by all the time.
And now the Trenches is on break until March 20th. Maybe after a break it might start getting better. For me, it's been pretty much forgettable so far, mostly due to the main character being unlikable.
I found QC through references over at Wapsi Square and (occasionally) PVP. QC's more of my fave (and I'm more active over in their forums). The reason i never read PA was because I had to click to get to the comic. Yeah, it's a stupid excuse. I don't really care though. They're all free comics and if I can get my fix with another a whole lot easier I'll go there. QC is about the only one I check out anymore. It updates on time or ahead of time, and it has likeable characters. I'm sure Scott won't miss my loss of readership. He'll probably get plenty of new readers riding the success of friends, so good for him.
Sounds like he's getting as complacent as the paper alternatives he likes to rage about. Ad plastered websites are so 1990's tripod.
That's one "full circle" joke.I like today's PVP. The look of abject horror on Max's face just tickles me.
