1. On the skins of animals.I can farm some leather for you where is good?
I have a few possibly silly questions.
Will my Justice points be reset when the expansion comes out?
I am close to having the points for a lovely level 397 robe which would be a massive upgrade from the cruddy one I have now. Is there much point in getting it so close to the expansion?
I have enough points to get the heirloom robe for my priest. Is this a better buy?
Run instances like crazy and get both??
Nope, people have already been saving up to the 4000 cap of Justice and Honor so they can get into the expansion with all the points they need for an upgrade or two at the end. You never lose points between expansions now. The only time you would lose points is if you were over the cap due to a downgrade conversion, at which point you get some consolation gold per lost point. Will my Justice points be reset when the expansion comes out?
Personally, I don't think it would. The game comes out in only a few days, and the items you will be getting by the second leveling zone will be better then any of the epics we have right now. I would only get stuff that you like the look, so that you can use them in the future for transmog.I am close to having the points for a lovely level 397 robe which would be a massive upgrade from the cruddy one I have now. If you like leveling new characters, yes, totally. It's sad but I find it really hard to level without heirlooms now, they are just too handy and give such a nice boost.I have enough points to get the heirloom robe for my priest. Is this a better buy?
Well... that is up to you.Run instances like crazy and get both??
Eh, I disagree. Cloth caster items cover any caster, leather agi gear will cover rogues, monks, and hunters, for str you have to go with plate, but there's 3 classes that use plate so w/e. You can live without the bonus stats for matching armor type while leveling imo.The only thing that makes me iffy about heirlooms is that you pretty much have to get all armor and weapon types if you really want to cover all your bases for any alts that you may make, unless they're all the same class.
Still? Man.[DOUBLEPOST=1348459795][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh, I got my Leatherworking maxed out. I got impatient. It cost me 600 gold, but on the other hand, the stuff I'm making is selling for minimum 200g on the AH because it's PVP leather gear.
UUUUUUGH, trying to do the quests in Tanaris is impossible. Every pirate is under permafarm by rep farming 85s from like 3 other servers. I hate this. I actually, really, hate this. I used to love just leveling an alt. It was relaxing. This sucks complete ass.[DOUBLEPOST=1348460068][/DOUBLEPOST]Cross Realm Zones are fucking awful. It was shitty enough doing low level zones before you get the dickheads from 3 other servers clogging every fucking area. It's super fun pretending like it's launch week in every zone.
Not like most material prices weren't completely inflated to insane prices before. This will push up prices on the AH as the resources are going to be more scarce.
This is something I agree with. They need to have a system so level 85s can't enter lower level zones automatically, instead only being allowed through grouping. If a level 85 wishes to farm low end materials, he should be forced to do such on his server or have someone on said server to group with so that he can be invited over.UUUUUUGH, trying to do the quests in Tanaris is impossible. That wouldn't be an issue if they just disabled cross realm zones for over 85s. You'd still be able to access the zone on your home realm. Scytherexx is just proposing that it would not consolidate populations for low level zones for those above 85.Banning higher levels from low level zones is the worst possible way to fix that. Having to group with a low level friend just to do solo achievements? Bleh. Need to group with a lowbie to farm mats to level tradeskills? Double Bleh.
What? I didn't say ban them.Banning higher levels from low level zones is the worst possible way to fix that. Having to group with a low level friend just to do solo achievements? Bleh. Need to group with a lowbie to farm mats to level tradeskills? Double Bleh.
It's not like they have anything better to do till tomorrow.I've been ganked by 5 different servers. It's super DUPER fun. The griefer 85s are out in force.
Well you have one now. I love seeing people around while I quest. Part of the reason I started to hate leveling was due to lack of seeing other players anywhere.CRZ brings nothing to the table. I don't think I've ever met someone that said -I really wish there were more people in my area as I'm doing quests I easily solo-
Never. Not once.
1 opinion against how many? I'm pretty sure the -for- crowd is the minority.Well you have one now. I love seeing people around while I quest. Part of the reason I started to hate leveling was due to lack of seeing other players anywhere.
Be aware guys, this is also a new system, people like to abuse what they can since they have nothing else better to do. Once MoP comes most of those 85s will be 90 spending more time doing new high end content instead of bother you leveling.
It brings massive multiplayer back to the levelling areas of the game, which is largely the only necessary point, and why Blizzard isn't going to get rid of it.1 opinion against how many? I'm pretty sure the -for- crowd is the minority.
It doesn't bring anything to the game, mostly because there's no use for having other people around since group quests were eliminated and LFD is Cross Realm anyway.
Like I said, everyone hates it because they got used to having all the levelling areas practically to themselves. There was no collaboration or competition for resource nodes, quest mobs, or anything else. Of course the general public loved it, but that's not the point. That is the purpose for it, to give a multiplayer feel back to the levelling areas. And Blizzard is never going to just let the zones be empty again now that they have the tech developed to cross-realm the zones.Bring Massive Multiplayer back to the leveling areas of the game? That'd be great if there was a purpose for it as early in the game showed. You know, back when there were group quests and world bosses? As opposed to the single player leveling experience they created it to be that is now only hindered by the appearance of multiple people in your area?
