Well, Microsoft's press conference is going so far. Nintendo and Sony tomorrow.

What are we expecting? What looks cool?

Apparently the big news of the day is that Project Natal is now known as "Kinect", which I'm sure is some bastard child of kinetics and connect.

I've also seen a Playstation Move trailer featuring archery, golf, ping pong, sword play, and boxing that looks really familiar...

Yes, and it's actually called the XBox 360 slim, which will also have built-in support for the Kinect and a 250 GB hard disk. If you don't get the new Slim, you'll need a separate power supply to run the Kinect system (I hope it comes with it?).

Also, I saw the Star Wars Kinect trailer, and it definitely appeared to be a waggle-control title (i.e. not 1 to 1 motion gameplay, but wiggle your hands to do this move, and shift here to do this move, etc). I just don't see how Kinect is going to work well without reliable feedback or a control source.

That Metal Gear Solid trailer was pretty cool. Gameplay doesn't look remotely like what they had in previous games, but I approve of a game, at least conceptually, based on Raiden cutting things up with his sword.

Apparently Microsoft disabled the comments for their live conference feed, due to all the negative feedback it was generating. I don't think Microsoft's existing market share was much a fan of the focus of their E3.

So Ubisoft just announced an all new 2-D (hand drawn) side-scrolling Rayman game at their keynote. Just Rayman, no Rabbids.

The Last Guardian and the new Zelda are top on my list of games I'm anticipating at E3.

In MMO-land, looking forward to more info on SW:TOR and FFXIV as well.

That Golden Eye game actually gave me eye AIDS. The God damn PSP is capable of better visuals.

Seriously though, is anyone going to be happy with that game? It's only been 14 years since the original. The genre has evolved by insane leaps and bounds since then. No one is going to purchase that game and not leave it disappointed.

How can there be a 3D screen without glasses if there are no non-glasses TVs? Maybe the trick is that you are always looking from the front here?

I am a terrible person because I giggled everytime that guy tried to say "without Glasses". Oh Asian accent.

Also, the 3d without glasses thing is possible I'm pretty sure, but it also would be extremely expensive on a full size TV. (I also think it's perspective dependent)

I laughed when all those women with 3DSes chained to their belts came out too. But I wish I could be there to actually see the 3DS, not gonna lie.
