I think on average German beer is slightly stronger. I know USA and Canadian beers are actually pretty much the same in terms of alcoholic content, despite what people say. but here, the most popular beers ( some of which are American) average around 5%, with a few up around 7%. While I was in Bremen and Frankfurt it seemed like they averaged closer to 7%.

Either way it could be referring more to taste than to alcoholic content. German beer is fucking amazeballs delicious.

Yes it is. I am not dissing other Beer breweries around the world or anything,but German beer is really delicious. There are generations of traditions and experience in most beer breweries which quite set them apart. Also beer is religion here and everyone goes to church.
