Funny Pictures Thread. It begins again

Now I'm wondering: am I the only one who thought about "carpet" as "carpet matches drape" as in "pubic hair" where it would grow back if you cut out a piece? And thus, where the "plant growth" was a really wrong idea?

When I couldn't get his page to load a month or so back, I thought he'd finally gone and given it all up. I'm glad to see that he hasn't.

Yeah, they've been complaining about Keenspot being very spotty lately. I've been following their antics on Tumblr, where they mostly make 3D models of clothing and humanoids with dicks. Pretty fun: http://ghastly-h-crackers.tumblr.com/

Also here's the "new" website for the comic, a.k.a. where the .com domain will redirect once Keenspot dies: http://ghastlycomic.tumblr.com/

We're having a water shortage here in Taiwan too, so... fuck you, Gas!

(I never thought I've ever said this, but what Taiwan needs most right now is to get battered by a typhoon or two)
Uhhhh... could we hold off on this request for a week or so?
I still don't understand how a country this damn humid has a water shortage. I feel like Monica when they went to Ross' lecture in...whatever island it was supposed to be.

As someone who actively bikes quite a bit, let me tell you, no one hates them more than us. They make the rest of us look bad.

The flip side of that coin, though, are the huge number of drivers who still refuse to recognize a biker's right to be on the road.

The flip flip side of that is the dork who thinks that means it's awesome to ride down the main thoroughfare at 5:00 pm. No need to make hundreds of drivers miserable either.

In my town I've taken to riding on the sidewalk, because one driver too many has passed me like I'm not the road at all (same lane pass) and that shit scares me.

Thankfully more and more bike lanes are being added, so hopefully that'll change.

To avoid same lane passes, ride in the middle of the lane. Otherwise they WILL try.
Driving on the sidewalk is dangerous though - I've seen a biker hit a person in a wheelchair once. Both were hospitalized. Mind you, he wasn't exactly biking at 10 mph, obviously.

Bikes on the sidewalk are fine as long as everyone is courteous about it. But people who ride their bikes on sidewalks and then don't walk their bike on crosswalks make me mad. But if they at least acknowledge red lights/stop signs it's a +1. :p

While I get his point, I don't feel like purposefully riding into clearly marked, easily avoidable obstructions is the best way to illustrate it.
The cop tells him he doesn't give a shit what's in the bike lane, if he leaves the bike lane he gets a ticket. Sooooo....

I understand your feeling. I could hear the unspoken dialogue "I'LL BE FINE I HAVE RIGHT OF WAAAAYYYYAAAAUGH" each time.

I must say, Houston treats bikes pretty well. There are probably hundreds of miles of bike trails, lots of bike lanes, and even dedicated bike roads. Voters even passed a multimillion referendum to expand all that with something like an 82% yes vote.

The woman straight-out jumped out of a helicopter* while the whole world watched. She can say what she wants.

* - Yes, I know that was staged. Still, you think she had to agree with the whole idea.
