Funny Pictures Thread. It begins again

The best part about the Doof Warrior there is the pure Australianess of making it happen. In the US, most studios would be like, "Okay, take an old guitar and we'll add some hoses and a nozzle and shit, and add the flame digitally." In Stray'a, they tell the prop guy, "We need a guitar made out of spare parts that shoots fire," and he fucking makes a guitar out of junk that SHOOTS FUCKING FIRE.

@Zero Esc It's supposed to be two messages. One that says " We remember all who serve" meaning the military. The other is supposed to just be "Hot Breakfast" indicating that they have a breakfast buffet.

I wanna see that movie purely for THAT guy (haven't had the opportunity yet). It's like... I cannot imagine a more metal thing than that. :drunk:

Practical effects are the best effects.
I accidentally posted Doof Warrior in the wrong thread. Moved it, and the replies, here.
I wondered.

I finally saw Fury Road tonight.

HOLY SHIT.

It's a masterpiece, it really is. The visuals are stunning, and despite being low on dialogue, the characters are well-fleshed out and they develop throughout the movie. The movie is relentless and somehow manages to give you a full fleshed out world, without needing to stop for exposition - it knows when to just let shit work its magic by itself. I could go on for way too long about it but suffice it to say that aspiring directors need to watch this movie a few dozen times and absorb it's lessons.

FYI that's about 26 months of play at 8hrs/day.
...and the game has only been out for a little more than twice that.
...so that means an average of something like 3-1/2 hrs/day since release.

Well, if you open the game and leave it open 24/7, waiting for you to take your turn, it racks up faster.

So, I'm sure people have heard about what a disaster the PC launch for Mortal Kombat X was, and still continues to be. The online is kind of trash unless you search for people in your region who don't have bad ping. Of course, this all lead to people demanding refunds on Steam. My favorite game was going and looking at the hours played of those who were demanding refunds.

Long story short, if you have played 60+ hours of a game, you don't deserve or receive a refund stating that the game is unplayable.

When I was replacing my iPhone battery in the recall last year, I posted about the Apple Store employees unplugging my phone and being surprised it didn't start right up when the plugged it back in, even after I told them about it repeatedly. At least five friends then told me about the battery recall, even though the very first thing my post said was that I was at the Apple Store to replace my battery. -_-

On the plus side, the repair program was extended to three years.

I already replaced the phone since then anyways, even with the new battery, I can drain it in a couple of hours. :p I couldn't handle it anymore.

Yep, perfect example of 90% of Facebook, here's a headline-don't read article linked-make comments.
On the other hand, Upworthy commenters love to accuse you of not reading the article if you disagree with it. They have tons of image memes they throw up for just such an occasion.
