Apparently people think it would be hilarious if the Ever Given was freed only for the very next ship to become stuck in the same way.
Others have pointed out that the Rule of Three says it's gotta happen a couple more times to be the "funniest thing that anyone has ever done ever".
For comedy, I think the Rule of Three is that the third one becomes a subversion of the pattern established by the first two things. So in this case, the second ship would also get stuck, and it'd be funny. But when the third ship comes in, it makes it through just fine but then blows up.
I'm one of those people. I laughed out loud
