I Ukrain had said, fuck you ,I'm keeping my nukes, they probably wouldn't have survived 2 months. On the other hand, NATO might've been slightly more inclined to help them.Lesson learned, don't give up your nukes. Especially to appease Russia.
Another imgur post said there's been 700 arrests so far and climbing.Remember, protest in Russia is illegal and can lead to being jailed. This is crazy brave of them.
As much as I hate to do it, I think NATO and the US should go in militarily at this point.
What I just read sounded more like malicious neglect. The head of the Russian space agency openly threatened to sabotage the ISS.
You can expect that sort of thing in basically all of the northern cities you'd usually think this wouldn't be a problem in. Because desegregation was only enforced in the southern USAnn Arbor? Would not have expected codified segregation in Ann Arbor. Unless it was something like this left over from ye olden days, of course.

Now will be the best time to let the Swedes and Fins into NATO/OTAN. The whole Russian Army is busy elsewhere. But see it's not just Ukraine. Now he's threatening Georgia, Moldova, Sweden, & Finland. Dude wants to rebuild the USSR and appeasement will not work.
Honestly, the EU should just be a NATO member. And have an armyNow will be the best time to let the Swedes and Fins into NATO/OTAN. The whole Russian Army is busy elsewhere.
That would be a whole can of worms, starting with "Who pays for it?" (Hint: It'd be Germany, almost certainly) and ending with with "How much say would it's member states have in it's use?" (Germany would want final say because it'd be the one paying for it).Honestly, the EU should just be a NATO member. And have an army
True, but I personally feel safer with Germany protecting European interests than I do with the USA.That would be a whole can of worms, starting with "Who pays for it?" It's just the NATO problem all over again: everyone contributes troops and some funding, but it's primairly funded by the US and staffed by experienced US soldiers so it's essentially an arm of the US military in everything but name.
