I have a job now. And after a little research, my pay is actually in the upper quartile of the industry, meaning higher than 75% of my peers. And it was higher than the salary I asked for. Woooo.

Of course, he said that my English is terribly informal and I should learn to use formal Business English. But that's a minor detail.

Yay new love! Or ... prospective new love/new like.

My good old pal from Lafayette suffered a nasty breakup with a trashy, clingy, gold digger who was more interested in having a ring to show off than having someone who treated her well.

Well guess what! My buddy met this great girl recently, and I just got a call saying their 3rd (or was it 4th...) "date-thing" went great! She kissed him. ^_^ Hooray for my old pal! He deserves nothing less... what a prince of a fellow. That put me in an even better mood!

Besides, I have Bumble's rough location from the Halforum Google maps chart from a while back. With a good sketch, we could conceivably start marking down possibilities. Give a few more details (say "we met at the art academy" or whatever) to narrow it down further and you'd be amazed how fast you can single down to a very limited set of people.

CUTE picture!

What's going on for Cajungal today? She's having a big, fat sweet potato for dinner, baked, with a mixture of Promise spread, cinnamon, and a drop of vanilla. I can't wait. :D Then back to work to make some more o dat money.
