A photo shared from Fort Smith in the NWT a few days ago taken at 2:30 PM.

Overcast and raining with a MASSIVE dose of forest fire smoke. Kind of apocalyptic.

I wish I'd gotten pictures of the wildfires around Miramar/San Diego a few years (actually closer to 6ish I think) ago, it was similar. No rain, but at 11:30 in the morning the smoke was so thick my headlights turned on, the sky was orange, and ash was falling like snow. Shit was insane.

Yeah, not trying to one up anyone, but I had one that was partially hooded. Something got under there and rotted, necrotizing the hood. Ever taste dead, black, blood? Also, the pain was so severe I couldn't even think straight, and I like to think I have a pretty high pain tolerance. Of course all this happened on a July 4th weekend. Anyway, long story short, that extraction was the greatest thing I ever felt.

I hear you. Well, not that I know what it felt like to have mine extracted, they put me under for that.

But you ever have a zit inside your ear canal? Hurts so bad, and you can't get at it... but when it finally pops... the feeling is almost orgasmic.
