Holy shit. If that's not photoshopped or doctored, I'm at a loss for words. I call fake until proven otherwise though. For the good of my own mind.Alright, this is one of THOSE pictures. It's got maggots and bones and rotting flesh. I am not joking or lying. It is allegedly a picture of a homeless man's foot who had not removed his shoes for 6 years.
This is my serious face.
You. Were Fucking. Warned.
Ewwww
Allegedly, the maggots kept sepsis at bay by eating the flesh as it died.Holy shit. If that's not photoshopped or doctored, I'm at a loss for words. I call fake until proven otherwise though. For the good of my own mind.
It's what they do.Allegedly, the maggots kept sepsis at bay by eating the flesh as it died.
Generally I'm not much of one for trigger warnings, but this was definitely a case where viewer discretion is absolufuckinglutely advised.Thank you for the warning and description, @GasBandit. I am happy to not see this picture.
I sincerely hope so.Base jumping. Please tell me base jumping.
uhh... I didn't see a chute deploy..Base jumping. Please tell me base jumping.
The closer you get to the ground before you pull, the more points you get.uhh... I didn't see a chute deploy..
I thought the face-first bounce looked unnaturally planned.Hey, lookit what I found! Apparently it's a stuntman making a joke. This made me sooo happy
Huh. I would have expected it to be Roger Daltrey.
I suspect a certain amount of shopping on this one, if only for the way the tarsal bones are uniform and in position, despite the lack of connective tissue/tendons etc.Alright, this is one of THOSE pictures. That sounds a little like, "Uh...I meant to do that."Hey, lookit what I found! Apparently it's a stuntman making a joke. This made me sooo happy
The metatarsals look about right, if the dried tendons are still holding everything together. I'm curious aboutI suspect a certain amount of shopping on this one, if only for the way the tarsal bones are uniform and in position, despite the lack of connective tissue/tendons etc.
The toes could have been blocked off by the remains of a sock bunched up in the shoe. The metatarsals look about right, if the dried tendons are still holding everything together. I'm curious about--Patrickthe mummified toes, they suggest to me that they were already dead and dried out by the time the maggots got in, otherwise the toes would've been consumed as well.
Plausible. Packed so tightly they couldn't wriggle through the fibers. The toes could have been blocked off by the remains of a sock bunched up in the shoe.
My god... it's full of subreddits I now need to subscribe to!An interesting map of the reddit NotSafeForWorkasphere.
Linked instead of embedded because friggin huge.
Protip: put them in a personal subreddit instead, so you can still read reddit at work and not get in any extra trouble. My god... it's full of subreddits I now need to subscribe to!
I have a second Reddit account for the NSFW stuff, which I only access from my phone. Keeps it off my work computers, and if I see something that really needs to be accessed on a desktop computer (a video for example), I'll just manually enter that subreddit on my computer at home.Protip: put them in a personal subreddit instead, so you can still read reddit at work and not get in any extra trouble.
Then it didn't happen. On the way home today, I passed an SUV that had tried to dive under the back end of a semi trailer at what was probably full highway speed. The semi's under-ride bar was literally pressed up against the (now reclined) front seats.
I did not take any pictures.
