I started decluttering purge of my comics today.

you are a strong man Nick. I could never part with my anime after all these years!
I'm just not sure if I can go through with this one as easily as my books.
But then I start asking myself those same questions:
"Will I ever read this again?"
"Would I be fine with just digital copies?"
"Would someone else maybe enjoy this?"
Don't think of it as getting rid of your collection. Think of it as seeding someone else's.
this is how I picked up some of my rarest pieces of anime, other collectors doing what Nick is doing so I cant fault him.
Do you have to sell them? I mean, are you selling them because you need the money? If not, have you considered donating them to a hospital with a pediatrics ward or a shelter for abused women (that have kids with them)? Comics can help kids feel more normal in a tough situation. It might be something to look into if you are able.

This is what I've done with my comics, though I know a lot of Nick's aren't kid-friendly.

Nebraska had a lot of snow this year. So a family in Chadron built instead of a snowman a snow 1967 Ford Mustang GTA. A buddy of their who happens to be a state trooper put a tow tag on it when the family was away.

I've been eating "Natural" peanut butter exclusively for about 6 or so years. I bought a small jar of Jiff b/c the store was out of the natural stuff. It tastes so processed and funky now. I used to love it. Even my 3 year old wouldn't eat her PB&J with the Jiff stuff.
