Hershal was unaware of her presence due to Otis being the one who dealt with that in the past. I find it highly plausible that Otis wouldn't have said "Oh yeah, put a 10yr old girl in the barn", just that he found "another one, but didn't recognize them". Also he wasn't the one that would go and "feed" them either.

I dunno, maybe I think people might read my posts instead of the "hype"
But the way you've come across in the past 6 months or so have made you so pretencious to everyone on the board, that noone respects anything you say anymore. Where as before you became the troller you are now, people actually found your criticisms on most movies and TV enlightening and used them as valid points. I know I used to, and I'm sure I wasn't the only one.

What a kick in the gut that last scene was. My wife was in tears and I was just stunned.
Thats good storytelling. This season may have had some missteps but the one brilliant thing they did was get all us idiots to keep thinking, "man, when are they gonna find that dumb girl" assuming they would "find" her somewhere rather then have her... well... you saw it. It was awesome.

There's a few coworkers who watch this show. Two are mid 40's housewives who used to roll their eyes when I would mention zombie movies. I got them watching this series and they love it. We were talking about Sunday's episode and they both were really disturbed by the ending. They said it was so violent and they felt bad for Hershal. Then Sophie comes out of the barn and they felt like they got kicked in the gut. Despite the criticism regarding pacing most of the coworkers who watched it never complained about it. They wanted Sophie found and would gather every Monday to discuss the episode. I love that this series can impact people who normally steer clear of this genre the way it does. It's been two days and I'm still running that final scene through my head. Powerful stuff there.
I hope Shane sticks around in the series. I would love to see how he deals with the upcoming events in the book. My only complaint about the series is I have to wait until February for new episodes. Curses!!!

I had someone at work spoil the reveal for me, on like Wednesday last week. He was reading some spoiler site and decided to share, but added "...but I don't think that's going to happen."

Having just emerged from a virus induced 5 day semi-coma, I had to stop in to say.... awesome episode! That was a powerful sequence that had so much more impact than how it played out in the comic. Loving the fact that Shane was kept around to liven things up so much and thought the whole scene further established that, while he still has a lot of authority in the group, when push comes to shove, it's Rick who steps up to do what needs doing.
And Charlie.... dude, it's not that we all get butthurt because you don't like something we do, it's that you come into this thread essentially trolling. You've made your opinion abundantly clear about how you feel about the show. Or are you so butthurt that more of us don't agree with you that you have to try and get a rise by suggesting we are all just hyping/buying into the hype rather than actually forming our own opinions?

I was referring to the hype about everyone hating me. I kept checking in because I used to like this show, and I wanted it to get back to what I liked about it.
I don't think people hate you, I just think they can't be bothered dealing with you - which is a far worse place to be. Like the uncle who nobody hugs at Christmas or the poop on the sidewalk no one cleans up but everyone artfully dodges, the reaction you receive is not "Grr Charlie" but "Meh Charlie"

I'm not a dumb reddit poster. And I like plenty of things. I don't think I've said TWD is flatout terrible or worse than 2.5 men. It's just not GREAT and not up to par with the amazing cable/HBO shows

Tempted as I am just to say the magic phrase again... I will point out that saying that it's not up to par with HBO shows is setting the bar pretty damn high. I mean... everything can't be Deadwood, Game of Thrones or Rome.
And even though it left me not particularly impressed, it was a far, far sight better than most of what passes for entertainment on TV these days. I get the urge to leave every time I'm at a certain friends' house and his wife insists on watching Amazing Race, Survivor, Desperate Housewives or something like that.

Yeah, if you'll compare this to other HBO shows, this doesn't even come close. The 2nd season is fine but I thought the 1st was far better overall. Compared to classics like Rome? Sopranos? Band of Brothers? So many to name. I gotta watch Deadwood... one of my favorite actors is in it and I must fix that.
Problem is, you post like a dumb reddit poster so much more often than not. Dunno when the change happened, because you didn't used to, but it's definitely taken that turn.
