Pretty much my prediction: Cops are gonna show up, they'll only be able to catch one of them (they'll run in different directions) and Sal is who they go after because she's black and thus they'll have an easier time making charges stick. Rape Guy's mom/dad is gonna be some rich jerkoff who supports DeSanto, leans on DeSanto to do something about the fucking crazy girl in the cape who just spread rumors about their son, and DeSanto gets the campus cops to FINALLY do something about Amazigirl.
Chapter ends with Dorothy fingering Rape Guy in a court case and him still getting off scott free.

Hopefully Willis knows this, rather than it being something he overlooked but his comics are drawn six months in advance, so there's nothing he can do about it.
Which really doesn't matter in the slightest, really. Yes, having to give up being Amazigirl would destroy her unhealthy, self destructive coping mechanism but it's unlikely he could ever prove she was, in-fact, Amazigirl. Where as Joyce already has been given proof that Rape Guy was part of the DeSanto campaign; literally all she has to do is tell her dad and he'd whip up his religious friends against DeSanto, forcing her to finger Rape Guy and give up his identity. She's not going to shelter a rapist if it means going against her core supporters.
There is NO logical way that Rape Guy could walk away from this unless he's a big name athlete for the school and then the question becomes Why hasn't the media raised hell about his sudden face scar?

We're seeing the same with high fructose corn syrup. Originally developed as a means to find a use for corn (which was falling in demand), it found it's way into EVERYTHING because people didn't want to use fat anymore.

Hey, I've said it before. Tepoz was one of the most interesting characters in the strip. I missed him, too.

Yeeeeeeeeeees, but keep in mind that was during a bank hostage situation while the current story leaves the reader trapped in exposition central!

One of Dave Barrack's biggest flaws as a writer is trying waaay too hard to explain everything in an attempt to appease "but what about..." commenters. As a nit-picking nerd myself, I understand that impulse, but it's almost completely at odds with "show don't tell". Most of Ingsol's speech to the council would have been better as bits of flashback while the action continues to play out.
