I'm having a hard time identifying the little red haired girl wearing the pink dress with the white cat on the front in the latest JL8. I don't think catwoman's ever been portrayed as a redhead, right? Same with Black cat (and the cat on the dress is white anyway. Closest I can think is Caitlyn Fairchild, and it's some kind of lame pun on her first name... but I would think the dress would be green or purple if that were the case.

I don't know either. Cat Grant is a blond. Lana Lang, maybe? She was a readhead in the comics before Smallville.

I suppose it's possible, but is there a clothing connection? In JL8, usually the clothes are meant to be indicative (like 8 year old Joker's red hoodie). Did Lana wear a lot of pink? Did she like cats? I ask because I'm not familiar enough to know, myself.

And no this was not made by a new artist who is going through horrible puberty things but an experienced artist who is a full grown adult! So, SO bad.

I don't feel that's even offensive or shocking in any particular way. It's just... not funny. Like something that maybe was funny to the artist in their head but should have been left in the sketch book and not rendered into a finished comic.

I don't know, it could be seen as offensive. I suppose werewolves and vampires are popular now, though, so why not ride the bandwagon with the youth enjoying those fictions.

No, no, that's the "gay character". He's just becoming... gayer? more flamboyant, I guess. Meh.

After all the hullaballoo about DC requesting artists submit drawings of Harley Quinn attempting suicide in a bathtub with a toaster, the artist who draws Manly Guys Doing Manly Things decided to draw (old) Lobo killing his (new, ridiculous, terrible) self in a bathtub with a toaster.

Achewood seems to be posting one strip a week, all of them on friday so far. I really do not want to get my hopes up that he's actually back, but signs are pointing to a yes.
