It's possible to get help in this fight from an NPC... but only if you got her help to fight the Moonlight Butterfly. If you did, look around for Beatrice's sign.Killed by 4 kings. Cool. Killed by 4 kings. Cool. Get back to the 4 kings, FORGET TO PUT ON RING, die.

You should play L4D with us. We're doing it almost every night now.I can't wait for Fallout 4. Right now nothing excites me game-wise. I have so many games and I really don't want to play any of them.

There's an easy strategy for beating them, but for the life of me I can't remember it. Something about their swing count and then getting them in the back. I remember being able to kill one just as the next appeared.Killed by 4 kings. Cool. Killed by 4 kings. Cool. Get back to the 4 kings, FORGET TO PUT ON RING, die.

Yeah, I got them the round after I fucked up and forgot to put the ring back on causing the massive loss of souls. There's an easy strategy for beating them, but for the life of me I can't remember it. Started up a new playthrough of Skyrim. Playing a Khajiit for the first time.
Punchcat is a surprisingly viable build.
I finished Arkham Knight.
Man, does the Batmobile overstay its welcome. The bomb disposal missions can just eat a whole bag of dicks. Overall, I really liked the game but there are a few issues. The Scarecrow just wasn't a great villain in the game and I was disappointed to find out that my very first assumption of who the Arkham Knight was turned out to be true. Anyone who is at all familiar with Batman's history will figure it out. I made the assumption before even starting the game. The game basically has three endings based on how much side crap you do. To get the "real" ending, you have to complete all the Riddler challenges. That's up to 30-40 trophies and 20 or so breakable objects per area you have to collect. That's beyond unfun. Unfortunately, the best part of the game is a spoiler.
The return of Mark Hamil as the Joker was surprising and awesomely done. The sequence where you play as him was probably my favorite part of the game.
As mentioned above, yeah, Jason Todd for any fan of Batman was obvious as the Arkham Knight. Even for players unfamiliar with him, it's telegraphed a mile away in the game by suddenly focusing on the backstory for his "death" shortly before the reveal.
I've been dicking around for hours in the first area. That is, I'm well over halfway with all of my types of unlocks and runes and whatnot.Noticing a couple problems in the second area of Shadow of Mordor:
- Not a single orc has come back after being killed, in any way. In the first area, one might bounce back within minutes of dying, but these ones go down and stay that way.
- With branding comes fewer enemies to be recurring and more friends who don't die.
Both of these issues mean that you're less likely to remember who will probably be your nemesis from the first area ... and that's if you fuck around enough in the first area (as I do). I'm curious to see who will be my nemesis when I finish the game tomorrow. The system is a lot of fun, but it's far from perfect.
I think you need to do those eventually to continue on the main story. I'm not sure. I did those along the way.I've been dicking around for hours in the first area. That is, I'm well over halfway with all of my types of unlocks and runes and whatnot. Is it the Gollum or Ratbag main missions that give you further access? And is it possible to go back or otherwise still get the other artifacts/legends/etc?
Ratbag is legitimately my favorite character in the entire game. All yellow quest icons must be completed and both lines of quests give you access to new powers. The Ratbag ones show you some of the more fun elements of the game though.
Funny, this just arrived in the mail today from Gamefly.Alien Isolation
Okay, so what have we learned? Well, we've learned that Nick can't do stealth games. Not only do I not have the patience to be sneaky, but I'm fucking terrified to even move an inch. I only made it as far as Chapter 4. I'm at the first point where I really need to sneak around with the xenomorph about and I just can't do it.
I think that's about as far as I'll make it for this game.
I think it's just for you yourself to earn power points.Shadow of Mordor
Does completing a Vendetta mission do anything for the player you are avenging? Because it feels like I've avenged just about everyone on my Friends List that has the game.

Watching you, Terrik, and Gas play this last night was cool but it just didn't appeal to me to actually buy and play. I did a round of ME3 Multi on silver and then went to bed.Terrik and I played Magicka 2 for about 20 minutes. He killed me a lot. It was fun. We need 2 more people to come die with us!

Yes, I suppose it was too much to ask for there to be some kind of notification for your avenged friends and some benefit in their game (like maybe making the captain easier on their side). That's legitimately disappointing.I think it's just for you yourself to earn power points.
Really? I've only ever avenged Edrondol, Edrondol, then Edrondol, and for a change, Edrondol.Shadow of Mordor

Which means any type of regular confrontation is better, since they earn a LOT more points for pretty much the same enemies.I think it's just for you yourself to earn power points.
You do get a notification when someone has avenged you. Some sites claim that the orc will show up with fewer reinforcements next time, but I can't confirm that.Yes, I suppose it was too much to ask for there to be some kind of notification for your avenged friends and some benefit in their game (like maybe making the captain easier on their side). I'm to the point where you can brand Captains to manipulate the power struggles a bit more. Conceptually I like this, but it really does make the whole process much easier when you want to dispose of a Warchief.
The best part is sending warchiefs against each other, or sending them to hunt down measly captains who don't have bodyguards. You can also assign bodyguards to your warchiefs. I did none of this my first playthrough, only discovering the intricacies this time.Yes, I suppose it was too much to ask for there to be some kind of notification for your avenged friends and some benefit in their game (like maybe making the captain easier on their side). I have one huge issue with Alien Isolation: the computer knows where you are at all times so the Alien always has some idea of where you are. There is never a chance of the Alien wandering far enough away that it will be a non-issue... there will always be times where you are essentially sneaking around it, only for it to be forced to spawn right by you to invoke more challenge. More, it never learns to avoid you if you actually manage to hurt it... it keeps coming back, unlike pretty much every animal in existence. It completely ruined my immersion. On my own gaming, I'm further along in Alien: Isolation and fu-uuuuck can that thing sneak up on you.
The light blips on the motion tracker are the true terror of this game.
