What are you playing?

Lego Star Wars:The Complete Saga

It's basically like any other Lego game out there. I only bought it because of my budding Star Wars fan.
Hey, don't knock the LEGO games... they may be simplistic, but they ARE fun and they are a great game to play with younger members of your family.

Dragon Age: I finished Awakening today, and then Witch Hunt. Having a Dalish origin, and having had romances off and on with Morrigan, it was an awesome coming of full circle considering how the Dalish story begins. It felt right.

Dragon Age 2: I'm only 40 minutes in, but I'm liking it. A lot of that's in the presentation, but I'm enjoying the change in the battle system (as a warrior; I feel like it'd be crap as a mage) and really looking forward to seeing how things develop. I've come to love Thedas as a fiction, so even if the game is not as epic or diverse as the first, I'm planning to take it for what it is, and hopefully won't find a lot to gripe about.

The DLC is kinda bullshit though. No way I'm paying $10 for that Black Emporium. The only thing I'd possibly consider is the classes items pack for $5, but otherwise, I don't see much of value. I'd probably have said the same for much of the Origins DLC had I not bought the Ultimate Edition and got it all anyway.

Anyone here who has played The Witcher 2... do you recommend it? It looks pretty interesting.
3-4 hours in.

Looks are fantastic. Voice acting is top notch. Storyline is interesting and feels realistic. Score is memorable. Combat is the game's weakest point along with a quirky inventory system. I'll prolly finish the game but I do find the combat frustrating and offputting.

Other than that, I've been playing SWG as well as The First Templar. Bidding my time until sweet sweet September.

The combat is where they definitely fucked up. Once you gain some key abilities like the ability to block from any angle and such the combat gets much, much easier and never gets harder again.

Finished Dungeon Siege 3 single player w/ the gun chick, Katarina, the other day. Going back through to play as one of the others now. Kinda liking the mage guy (Reinhart?), but he's a bit tough to get used to after all range all the time.

Just rented Borderlands... enjoyable, mindless fun, thus far.... I rather enjoy how random the weapons drops can get, even while it can be frustrating. Just like in Diablo...

I farmed the "Armory" in a later DLC for days just getting weird purple drops. It was a blast.

Final Fantasy 12. Never got around to to before and it sat in the closet for 4 years when I bought it for the wife to play.

They F'ed up CoD: Black Ops. I play Hardcore CTF pretty much exclusively. They recently 'patched' Hardcore to lump CTF in with other game modes like Domination and Headquarters (which both suck) into a game mode called "Flags". So now, not only is the chance for a certain map random, the game mode is random.

So instead, I've been playing a lot of League of Legends. Against bots. Because human players make me cry.

I am actually raiding (only it seems) for DCUO with my league on Thursday.

I am playing Global Agenda a lot lately. It is pretty fun.

Short tempered jedi female wielding a 2 handed lightsabre with tendency to the dark side?

Have you finished the game?

For KOTOR I always went for Light side Soldier/Guardian and Dark Side Scourdral/consoluar mostly because I considered the dark side powers offensive enough that most of the time I didnt need to use the saber, whereas I used the light side jedi for combat buffs and went in swinging with two sabers. Very different play styles and a lot of fun.

Mount & Blade Warband.

Holy fucking shit can I sink some real poopsock time into this fucking game. I'm just gonna play for an hour. Now, let's just look at the clock and HOLY SHIT IT'S FUCKING 6 HOURS LATER.

Having just finished the Ocarina of Time 3D remake for the 3DS, I've pulled out the game cube controller and have been playing Wind Waker.

I've been looking at the Mount and Blade games. Are they really that good?

I got a 21 day trial for EVE Online about two weeks ago. I'm liking it.

I have been neglecting my DCUO :( and playing Global Agenda. I think I like it cause all instance are timed so you only have 15 minutes to finish it unlike DCUO instance which can be done as fast as 5-8 minutes to hours :(

Mortal Kombat (2011)

I can't believe it... it's actually... good! I've been playing it non-stop for the past week, learning to main Reptile. I even bought all the DLC!

Mount and Blade is dangerously addictive. Get Warbands.Though the new one has Guns now,it isnt as RP friendly as Warbands.

Starcraft 2 multi has destroyed my desire to play other games as of late :(
I've been taking a bit of a break from it with the ladder locks, but once the new season starts I'll be diving back in. Just killing time until that happens, now.

Anyone else check out the Catherine demo? When I reached the end of the second frantic climb with those damn hands right on my ass, my wife and I cheered "Yes!" at the same time Vince did. That pretty much sold us. I feel stupid that I almost gave the game a pass because of GameInformer saying "the nightmare sections are just interruptions between anime segments." I gotta start being more critical of their critique, especially after they keep assigning the Dissidia previews and reviews to a guy that clearly hates the combat and the Final Fantasy franchise.

As for current, I'm actually getting somewhere with Persona 3, but I can't see myself finishing it in the next three months anyway. Nor do I want to. I really wish Atlus would put Digital Devil Saga on PSP.

And getting nowhere with Fallout 3. I cannot stop exploring random metro tunnels--I am never gonna finish this fucking thing because it's too fun just poking around.

Spent the last two nights playing straight through all the Back to the Future episodes. Really liked it, though at times the puzzles felt too easy, other times I'd get frustrated enough to look up the hint and would have to facepalm myself for not figuring it out on my own.

The beta for Might and Magic: Heroes 6 (yeah, they changed the name)... i like it better then 5 overall, but some of the changes are weird...

Going through Fallout New Vegas now that some DLC and new Mods are out.

Heaven.... I'm in heeeeeaven.
Have you found any good way to keep your Karma low in the main game? In my pro-Legion game, the lowest I seem to get my Karma is Neutral, mainly because most of the Support gathering missions give you positive karma and because killing the odd Fiend gives you a ton of it. I've tried out and out murdering civilians (which does nothing), as well as stealing and cannibalism (which only give minor karma drops), but I think I'm gonna need something bigger. I really want to get it as low as I can before The Lonesome Road.

Unfortunately there is no "Blow Up Megaton" mission and it seems the DLCs are destined to make me a goody goody. I'll let you know as I get further in the main quest (only beat it once and don't really recall what I did) as I'm not familiar with the DLC packs yet. So far though, not alot of "right and wrong" decisions to be had.
