Whats for Dinner?

Bean tacos, celery with dark chocolate peanut better on top for dessert. So good. I think I'm gonna make some stuffed chicken tomorrow.

I'd love to make a pot of chili, but there's no time. I have so little time to cook during summer school. Can't wait til it's over... only about 2 weeks left, thank goodness.

I'll probably end up eating sardines straight outta the tin and some bagged salad. Not that that's not delicious...

I'm thinking chicken...something. Last night we had breakfast for dinner: scrambled eggs with ham, peppers, potatoes, and onions, and biscuits.

This was the meal I cooked last thursday for my birthday guests. There were some minor nitpicks here and there from myself and presentation could've been better (especially on the main course) but everybody agreed that it was delicious, so that's good.

Scallops with arugula, cherrytomatoes and a limedressing (could've used a little more dressing)

Pangash fillet, zucchini, red bell pepper, carrot and pasta all fried in garlic/basil oil (should've used stronger tasting/more oil and vegetables shoulda gone shorter)

Strawberries with mintpesto (must remember to chop the mintleaves before making this next time)

Not sure. I just went grocery shopping, too. Last night, though, I made some awesome southwest-style shredded beef. OM NOM NOM!

tonight: spice rubbed ork tenderloin fillets in gravy, mashed potatoes, and cinnamon apple wedges

last night: Taco bell
Sorry about the taco hell, it's not really food ya know. ;)

Ork? Is it Mork from Ork or just a random Orkian that you caught on the street? >:D

Sorry, I know that it's really pork, but I laughed at the typo.

Roasted chicken seasoned with herbes de Provence, corn bake, and broccoli.

I'm waiting to hear back from workmates about dinner tonight in town, to a restaurant called Wahoo´s Bistro & Patio. Three guesses on their theme ingredient.

Dinner thread, wise fwom your gwave!

I made broccoli soup with rosemary and gorgonzola. I also made aioli from scratch.

The aoili was...difficult. It tasted good, but I'm not sure whether or not it had the right consistency. It was stiff enough that the whisk stayed upright in the bowl, but still a little droopier than I expected. Is it still good, or does anybody have any tips?

Thanks! It was my first attempt, so I'm glad it didn't just fall apart, but I'll try doing it more slowly next time.

B & D Burgers' "The Whitefield": BBQ sauce, Cheddar, Bacon, Onion Rings. I told 'em to Bring it On (make it a 1lb burger), cooked Medium Rare. OM F-ING NOM

Some gross pre-made chicken lo mein that stuck to the pan I cooked it in.

Pork chops with mashed potatoes topped with fresh potato crisps and peas and carrots, with a bagpipe serenade.

Ahhhh, last night we made turkey dinner.

So a bacon covered turkey stuffed with ground pork stuffing. Delicious. Sides included real baked Mac and Cheese, mushrooms and bean almondine, brussel sprouts, garlic and dill mashed potatoes (with their skins) and some amazing turkey/bacon gravy. It was hella good.

Tonight, I ate probably 2 pounds of stuffing swimming in gravy. Life is good.
