Noooo... Must remain strong... Remind myself... Can't spend money...Green Man Gaming coming back hard with counteroffers against the Steam pre-order bonuses.

You get Bioshock 1, X-Com and one of the following: Civ 5, Darkness 2, Spec Ops, Mafia 2 or Bioshock 2 as well as a 15 dollar credit towards your next purchase. I think their stuff all redeems on Steam.
They are apparently still doing a sequel. The kickstarter failed because of "conversion rates" and "an unclear sales pitch", but they went to Steam Greenlight so who knows...Ahhh, "The Ship," the underrated game that Assassin's Creed stole its multiplayer from.
Pre-ordering has existed for just about everything ever, not just video games. It doesn't matter how good it is, or how many games they give away with it, preordering sends such a horrible message and encourages such loathsome practices in the gaming industry that it cannot be countenanced in any form above a $5 reservation or so.
I don't care about everything ever, I care about the deleterious effect preordering has on video games. If you want to preorder your porch furniture or automobile or toothpaste, you go right ahead.Pre-ordering has existed for just about everything ever, not just video games.
Pre-order bonuses for toothpaste are getting insane. If I pre-order from walgreens, I get the bonus mint stripe, but I can only get whitening as a costco special.I don't care about everything ever, I care about the deleterious effect preordering has on video games. FTL FTW!I keep having to tear myself away from the indie game sale. I want FTL and Evochron Mercenary, but I already have lots of games to play, and chances are they'll go on sale again in the future, probably at even lower prices.
But we wants them... we wants them preciouses...
Oh man, I raced to steam to buy it. But then I saw I already own it. Doh! Heh. It gets hard to remember what I've bought and what I pirated. Though it's started getting to be waaaay more of the former than the latter. I think the only one left to go is Skyrim, come to think of it.Just Cause 2 for 3 dollars on Steam.
Open world, chaos, lots and lots of awesome, lots and lots of fun.
That and having a huge backlog of legitimately puchased games. "Eh, by the time I get around to it, it'll be 20 bucks."I know the feeling Gas. I used to pirate tons of games back in the day, but ever since Steam started doing the big sales, just the IDEA that a game will cost what it's actually worth someday is enough to keep me from downloading.
My life's gaming philosophy summed up right there. That and having a huge backlog of legitimately puchased games. "Eh, by the time I get around to it, it'll be 20 bucks."
Bleh.Amazon has a bunch of Wii U games on sale.

Holy crap thank you!
Along with RO 1 and 2.3 bucks for Killing Floor and all the DLC? That's a steal.
