Me too sir. It would be incredible to go with my soon to be glut of Reaper miniatures.I want to buy around 10 sets but Mr. Bank account might have something to say about that.

but I'd always wonder what it would be like to have had $500 to spend willy nilly on a game.
Certainly you can build -something- out of kids.I think you may have traded that luxury for a billion trillion children.

High end niche products are expensive. Why not just make your own with foam and paint? Or resin cast your own pieces? Both would be much cheaper than this. These look awesome but they cost WAY too much.
The time that would take is worth the cost for me.Why not just make your own with foam and paint? Or resin cast your own pieces? Both would be much cheaper than this. These look awesome but they cost WAY too much.
AN EMPIRE!Certainly you can build -something- out of kids.
Yeah, problem is, Marc Jacobs was only part of what made DAOC what it was... Matt Firor I'd say was even more important to it, and he's working on TES Online.
Ok, super bad-ass, they just announced that Manami Matsumae, the original composer for Mega Man and other Capcom games, will be doing music for Shovel Knight.http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/yachtclubgames/shovel-knight
It's called Shovel Knight. It looks fun.
... and it's hit over 1.5 (Kickstarter doesn't count the direct donations on the Shroud site). We're getting the roast!Good to hear. Now I'm waiting for Shroud of the Avatar to hit 1.5 mill. If it does, Spoony of the Spoony Experiment gets to interview/roast/humiliate Richard Garriott again, as Garriott promises to do a video with him.
Considering how great Spoony's Ultima series was (Garriott LOVES it), this could only lead to great things.
Authetic as in original 8-16-32bit style of creation."Authentic pixel art" ?
Heaven forbid they should produce counterfeit pixel art...

This looks pretty rad.
I posted that and talked about it in this thread already.
First time I've ever backed anything on kickstarterhttp://www.kickstarter.com/projects/darkseasgames/road-redemption?ref=category
ROAD RASH????????????????????????
So, these guys may be the first big Kickstarter cautionary tale videogame wise. There's been some major backlash over the devs complete neutering of the DRM free version of the game (what was promised) and some stretch goal features being cut from the game and being turned into DLC.Ex-FASA employee's want to make a hardcore, turn based Shadowrun game. You know, like we've always wanted.
Funding is a little light on this one but it's still early in it's cycle.

ROAD RASH????????????????????????
It was bound to happen eventually. One of these groups was going to get to thinking they're more important than the others (or their paying backers). So, these guys may be the first big Kickstarter cautionary tale videogame wise. There's been some major backlash over the devs complete neutering of the DRM free version of the game (what was promised) and some stretch goal features being cut from the game and being turned into DLC.
Can you elaborate? So, these guys may be the first big Kickstarter cautionary tale videogame wise.
