He's looking for our Minmax. The oblivion sword is going to be what's mucking up his plans.

Maybe it's one of the alt Kins.
Yeah, that's what I mean. Our Minmax is still in the Tower Room, according to where Psimax is staring. And, theoretically, no one in the Tower Room can get up in there, since the mouth is shut.

One of the Kins following them up the oblivion hole sounds possible.

I think that lizard dude in Dies' party got a -10 when he died. They might be NPCs? Would an NPC that is partying with a group get the -10 in normal rules?

It might be that everyone gets the -10 but in most cases, especially with monsters, since no one is going to revive you anyway thunt might not actually bother with the minus icon.

Would you consider her -adventuring- with MinMax and Forgath since her escape?
Possibly, but don't you have to "declare" a class, in this comic universe?

So, any theories on what Kin will do with the anymug?
Well, that doesn't hold a lot of mystery, it's still full of healing potion from the river of healing potion (I assume) so I'm betting she'll drink it. It's somewhat of a question of whether the potion will regrow her tail, or leave her a medically-stable torso, or even do something crazy like grow her legs... but I'm much more interested in the question of who "thunked" the anymug down in front of her, as the other guys in this thread are also asking.

My guess would have been

Goblinslayer-Kin, since we know Goblinslayer liked to heal Kin so he could torture her again, and it'd be such a mind-screw for Kin to see a version of herself merged with the Goblinslayer

except we saw her die in the Tower Room.

Well, it's not going to grow or regrow anything. Thunt as much as said so on Twitter by saying that it didn't fix Minmax's scar. (Though that could have been a misdirection, since in various fictional universes once something is healed it can't be healed again. i.e. get magical healing for your broken leg and you'll be fine, but magical healing can't fix your limp once the bone has already healed wrong.)

So she's just going to be a healed torso? That'd be all levels of wrong....
Regeneration and Healing are two different effects that do the same thing in different ways. A cure spell won't bring back your arm, only stop it from bleeding out. Regeneration brings back the arm. This is why Regeneration effects are kinda rare.

So...
With the Kins here, does this mean MinMax is dead? Or did the Kins realize that this MinMax wasn't a bad guy?

Yeah, these Kins were the ones they were fighting before they crawled through the hole made by the oblivion hole. They were never in the Tower Room.

Tempts Fate, like the Altsplanations, was always an unwelcome interruption to the main story I came to read, from my view.

Hmm, I like TF too. I dislike when he replaces the "main" cast. Than again, when was the last time we saw a page about, you know, Goblins? I love Forgath/Minmax/Kin, but their storyline's taken over as main focus in the last year. TF's at least still a Goblin :p

As far as the main plot goes, I think he feels he has to finish the Maze of Many arc first, because technically while all this is going on, time is not "passing" for the real world.

Oh, I know, and I'm frankly more interested in the next MoM comic than I am in the next One-Wing comic. I was just voicing my opinion that "the main cast" isn't getting any attention anyway, and that I personally don't mind a TF.

Yeah, given the events of the last GAP comic we got, we probably need to finish the MoM storyline before we can even think of returning to them.

So this is interesting. Will the oblivion sword stay around if/when the characters die? (Which I still don't think they will.)
