Goblins news: Big Changes For Goblins

In short:
- Amicable parting with Blind Ferret, which is why the server hosting is wonky at the moment
- Site redesign
- Updates will be every 4 or 5 days instead of twice a week
- The colorist, Forest Rhodes, is leaving and Thunt will be doing all the coloring again.

Don't care about the redesign (it could stay dull black as far as I'm concerned - I want to be able to read a comic and go back in the archives, everything else is filler for me). Likewise, while I like Blind Ferret, if they're parting amiably for contract reasons about the card game, well, good for him, hope he'll do great on his own. The new update schedule? If he's going to be colouring himself, I doubt very much if he'll be able to stick to his once every 4 or even 5 days.

Thunt: I'm leaving blind ferret. Those guys are great and totally check them out, but we had a disagreement but they're still great.
Shomer: Toooootally not directed at anyone but some people are assholes!
Thunt: It's too bad we couldn't work things out, but BF is seriously great.
Shomer: I could start shit, but am wayyyy too professional to do so. BUT I WANT TO.

I have to agree. Unless Thunt had an agreement with Blind Ferret where they get a cut of his profits for hosting the comic, I don't see why anyone thought they deserved a cut.

Not that I've seen. Thunt is being professional and not talking about it and Shomer is being passive aggressive through tweets. It makes me wonder if the the other artists on the site are getting a little nervous and rethinking their association.

Is "Shomer" a thing?

Don't psionics run out of mojo? This guy has been hell on wheels for way too long to be believable any longer as a player class.

Wait, what level is this guy at; he retains all his memories from the thousands of times he's run through the maze... is he at some demi-god level now?

All it would take would be one weapon to penetrate his defenses. He's liquified, what, four people so far? That's seven more, plus our Minmax. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Oblivious turns out to be the only thing that can penetrate.

EDIT: Make that five liquifications, six people left, plus Minmax. Missed the wrapped tail in the last few panels.

Yeah, he's ether almost out of juice or the psionic rules are hella broken. Not only has he liquified all those guys, he's doing it while maintaining the psionic construct of his up near the maze exit. He's ether maxed his Concentration or the gods need to bring out a rules update.

To be fair, has anyone *read* 3.5 Psionics? I've had players build characters not much weaker than this. Assuming he *is* Epic level (as he ought to be from running the maze a zillion times) and most others there are of "normal" power levels ("our" heroes are what, level 8?), it's perfectly possible to be this overpowered. Psionics *were* nerfed down throughout 3.5 for a reason.

Our guys are level 3, if I recall correctly. They leveled up right before falling into the healing potion river.
