That is AWESOME! Hooray for us(by which I mean satanists, that theres anything wrong with being gay but I just want to clarify).
To get respect, even simple respect, you have to give it/earn it. Sorry, he doesn't deserve ANYTHING.I don't have any respect for the Satanists' attempt to offend the WBC. Fred Phelps is clearly a man who is very angry, cocky and mean, but in spite of that, he's still a person and I believe he deserves some simple respect. His mother's grave? How sad. Just because he is mean, do you not think he is capable of good feelings? Of having loved his mother? Protest him. Counter protest. Write letters. Be gay in front of him. But don't go and try to hurt him by making out on his mother's grave.
I can't imagine any of us would like someone to make out on our parents' graves, gay satanists or otherwise.
Sigh.
But I guess that's the point.

Including attention. Now WBC is in the news again and being discussed again. To get respect, even simple respect, you have to give it/earn it. Sorry, he doesn't deserve ANYTHING.
Yar.Including attention. Now WBC is in the news again and being discussed again.
They'll always have attention, they'll never be fully go away even if everyone ignores them, it makes them too much money. Might as well do our part.As despicable as I find the WBC, this kind of thing only serves to feed them and draw attention to them.
Yar.
I agree.Two wrongs don't make a right.
But three lefts do.Two wrongs don't make a right.
I imagine we disagree about how to establish respect. While there are certainly levels of respect I feel must be earned, everyone, even those who hurt you still are human beings worthy of some respect. To get respect, even simple respect, you have to give it/earn it. I wouldn't invite Phelps over for coffee, but I wouldn't seek out causing him pain or disrespect. If we're not nice to people because they're not nice, when is the cycle broken? This is the stuff of feuds, violence begets violence and all that jazz.
You're right, we do.I imagine we disagree about how to establish respect.
And when the bad guys empty their gun at you, then throw the gun at you, duck to make SURE that gun doesn't hit you! It's WAY more dangerous than all those bullets were!
Yeah, everyone knows that being knocked-out is just like a forced nap. You wake up feeling refreshed and ready to go!And everyone can be knocked out with one punch, and have no lingering side-effects or concussions afterwards.
Well, maybe. If the danger has passed and the leading lady is around, then you're sore and squinty for a bit.Yeah, everyone knows that being knocked-out is just like a forced nap. You wake up feeling refreshed and ready to go!
The UFC would actually prove all of that mostly true. And everyone can be knocked out with one punch, and have no lingering side-effects or concussions afterwards.

Saw Journey of Man when it was in theaters (in IMAX 3D), it was pretty spectacular.Has anyone ever been to a Cirque du Soleil show live? Just curious. Been on something of a research kick about them.

Duuuuuude. I lost my Heroquest years ago too. So jelly.I went to my parents' house today, and I found, sitting in my old room, something I thought my mom sold at a garage sale ages ago: HEROQUEST. So excited.
That is so much cooler than Matt Smith walking around comic con in a Bart Simpson mask.Bryan Cranston found a clever way to move about SDCC unhindered - he cosplayed as himself, complete with mask.
