Well, I finished it. It definitely got better around the halfway mark. I probably slogged through it because I'm a sucker for sandbox games with lots of side stuff to do. Whenever I play a sandbox game, I tend to play all the side stuff I can, then the story mission, then more side stuff that gets unlocked as a result.
I also beat it with the Good ending. I just don't understand the point of a "Total saint vs. Total dick" moral choice system. It confuses the hell out of the canon if you're doing sequels (like the upcoming Second Son, though I hear they're treating the Good ending as canon). Worse, it's hard to relate with the character because if there are a bunch of cut scenes with the character and they act the exact same in both ways except for minor bits where you have to make a choice, then it makes for confusing character development. Ugh. I know that moral choice systems are popular like this or Mass Effect, but I'm hoping they go away.
