Now I kind of want to find the right image to caption with "You can do anything if you roll a natural 20".I'm surprised the Hold Person affected him at all. His saves must be insane.

Heh, Korr would still get a saving throwNow I kind of want to find the right image to caption with "You can do anything if you roll a natural 20".
Sounds like a fitting epitaph for his headstone."Even potential evil must be eradicated." - Kore, 9/17/2005
Not really too hard to extrapolate Psimax's background, though. Minmax in that universe maximized his power as a psion, becoming highly intelligent. Eventually he became so cold and logical that he came to the "logical" conclusion that oblivion is preferable to existence. On thunt's twitter he said that each head now has a back story. I'm guessing those will be the new altsplanations.
Though we never got one for psimax, did we?
Unless we haven't seen the last of him, and there's more to his backstory that will play into future events. There may be other elements, perhaps something to do with his Kin and Forgath, but I think the most pertinent points have been revealed.
I personally doubt we'll see him again. At the end of the Maze of Many arc, he was returned to his own reality, and "our" group returned to reality 156.Unless we haven't seen the last of him, and there's more to his backstory that will play into future events.
God I hope not. The story moves slow enough as it is.On thunt's twitter he said that each head now has a back story. I'm guessing those will be the new altsplanations.

I consider just that a victory, even if it is just a small one.Rough version of the comic posted.
Not looking good, but at least he's managed to hurt Kore.
Yeah, the update thing on the left has been stuck on "Today" for like three days now.I love Goblins, but FFS, these long gaps between updates are getting somewhat ridiculous.
It's been a subject of concern on the Goblins forum too - though they finally were able to get in contact with Thunt's wife Danielle and everyone's okay - still waiting on a "blog post" by someone for an explanation.Man, it's been like a week and not even a tweet from the guy. Hope he's OK.
I skimmed this part and my heart skipped a beat. Screw you, Phil!!!1And then died.
Well that's a major relief. Thanks for shedding some light on the subject mate, I think we were all starting to get more than a little nervous. It's been a subject of concern on the Goblins forum too - though they finally were able to get in contact with Thunt's wife Danielle and everyone's okay - still waiting on a "blog post" by someone for an explanation.
Danielle - Tarol's wife said:I know he's going to go public with at least this much information:
Although it is an emergency situation, nobody is dead or dying. As soon as the dust finishes settling, Tarol is going to post a blog and get back to work on the comic.
He's already made it quite clear that he's prepared to drop all references to the D&D snake person race and everything else (except maybe THACO) is generic. I suppose he could have spent the last two months reworking pages, but he'd have said something.I'm wondering if it's some kind of legal troubles. Maybe something having to do with the game and or leaving blind ferret. That or someone at Wizards of the Coast finally found out about this and took issue with it.
My personal guess is a close family member falling ill or dying. Legal trouble probably wouldn't fall under "urgent private reasons", as posted on the update counter. Recently his wife Danielle said that neither of them are ill or dying. So that's why I'm guessing it's someone else close to them.Geez... I hope this isn't were we hear he is dying of cancer or some nonsense.
Okay, he said he was going to post today and today is nearly over. Inquiring minds want to know!
Well, the thing is either stylized or holding veins in its hands. Heart issues? The shredded comics could be from the past or could be from the future.Yeah, though now that just worries me all the more. What do the shredded comics in the background mean?
What if they're both? I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that this wasn't a data loss issue. I can imagine that, if Thunt lacked adequate backup procedures, that something like a lightning strike could have caused enough loss to cause the downtime. The shredded comics could be from the past or could be from the future.
