That's not quite the feeling I was trying to evoke. This is how I feel about WoW. I enjoy it, but there is NO WAY I'm paying 15 a month to do this.
Dota is fun for a change of pace from league but I always end up going back to league. I'm sure it would click over time, like it did with league, but not knowing the items and having to rely on builds to do anything useful is a little bothersome. On the whole I find it less forgiving too.
I haven't played much though so honestly barely know what I'm doing in it.
Yeah, it's very unforgiving, and seems nearly impossible to come back from a bad decision. My first try's mistake was building too many houses too fast, so kids were moving in together and having babies as soon as they hit their teens. I've started a new game now, 38 years in and a population of 63 growing much more slow and steady. I just figured out the town hall is surprisingly useful as a means for tracking trends in things like your birth rate or surplus food generation, all the better for knowing when to build more houses and when to.. not.RE: Banished
I've gotten pretty far, but the farther you get the more heartbreaking that one single mistake is.
It's fucking great. Glad you're into it.Shin Megami Tensei IV
What a weird, cool, little game. I'm hooked. It's hard, but not frustratingly so. Was a good recommendation. Thanks!
I can't think of anyone who's played it and hasn't said this.Once again, this game would have worked a LOT better if it was just a stand alone title, away from the Ass Creed trappings.
I played more DotA.
WHAT AM I BECOMING?
Basshunter's arm candy coterie look sooooooo bored with all this nerd shit. Heh. Good thing he took them clubbing afterwards, eh?I played more DotA.
WHAT AM I BECOMING?
I still don't understand the items. Buying from the store or the secret shop is like dining in a foreign language. I just point to pictures and say 'that one' because it's listed in the recommended build list.Any favorite heroes yet?
I've actually found the community in DotA 2 to be pretty good. Miles above League of Legends. I've only played a few multiplayer games, but in each, I told my team I was brand new and just learning, and they were more than happy to give me pointers, and forgive my mistakes.I tried DOTA. Played a few games and the people on it were horrible. So I never played again.
Next time you see me on, give me a shout. We can do the mid lane 1v1 mode and you can get some practice in and I can teach you about items.I've actually found the community in DotA 2 to be pretty good. Miles above League of Legends. Smite has a pretty decent coop mode.I'd play more MOBAs if you they had better support for co-op with friends vs a team of good AIs. That's what I liked about Demigod so much. Was easy to get two or three friends and go up against a team of difficult AIs.
Won't spoil it (and you may have already been spoiled of it), but I look forward to hearing what you think of the ending.Just started BioShock Infinity. At the part right after saving Elizabeth.
Skyhooks are awesome!
It's okay, Jay's french. That's halfway to retarded. No excuses for the other guys.
