Random Video Game Crap

Also, @Jay It would be almost as stupid as when Gilgamesh quit because he was told to stop funnying Charlie's posts.

Wait...that's why he hasn't been around? Genghis Khan.
(Note: I'm testing out saying "Genghis Khan" instead of "Jesus Christ." Just to mix things up a little.)

Re:Gilgamesh, Shegokigo had a bit to say last time she was around.

I dunno about him coming back, he's been pretty put off by what happened (the Jay debacle) and while on his break realized his toxic behavior (his own words) and feels it might have stemmed from being on here too much and the dealings he had with some individuals on a daily basis.

Whatever nick name you pick, be prepared for the jokes. I used to complain about people making fun of my nick-name too, but later in life(15 I think) I realized when you choose share a name with a cartoon mouse, a pop-song, and an Irish racial slur you deal with the gags like an adult.

I don't mind them, and I have silly monster man hands. Still the best dpad ever on a controller.
What can I say, I disagree on both counts. The original NES controller feels way too small now, and the dreamcast's D-Pad (and thumbstick, and whole controller really for that matter) was and is the best ever.

I love the DC dpad, but man that shit was sharp as a knife. My thumb used to hurt like hell after MvC2 sessions.

I'm getting off at 4 in the morning... it is entirely possible that I will play it again.

And I was starting to do that, but only after all the other houses were filled up.... my village had a sudden baby boom after I got everyone housed, and the kids are juuuust starting to get old enough to work.

Also, took me a minute to realize that the firewood cutter needed LOGS, not just TREES. And the throughput problem was my forester not being built.

Now if I can just get my blacksmith built, because I've run out of tools, but I need stone, so I need my quarry up and running faster, but I need more people for that, and I could probably gather more iron, but I need to build a bridge to get to the deposits on the other side, but I need more logs, but my second forester's not up yet...

I might have a problem here...

Of course, you have to build slowly, but not TOO slowly, or everyone gets old and you are screwed that way as well. Such a balancing act.

SO many ways to be screwed. Not everybody educated? Screwed. Not wearing warm clothes? Screwed. Run out of tools? Screwed. Not enough wood? Screwed. Not enough stone? Screwed. Take in a bunch of nomads? EPIDEMIC.

Good Skyrim Mods Weekly this week with some pretty good looking UI improvements, even beyond just using SkyUI.

... a lot of people are about to die.
Oddly enough, only half my population, which wasn't that high to begin with... I've managed to reach an equilibrium of sorts, which isn't exactly a good thing, as many of the population are getting on in years, now.

However, NOW I've got plenty of food, tools and coats stockpiled, plenty of wood to harvest, my stone quarry is doing great and my iron mine is.... going. I've even got a hospital AND a herbalist now.

Time for some population growth.
