We just flipped IPS on our router from "on" to "off," which I thought had been off already, and suddenly our bandwidth went from 16 down 10 up to 75 down 75 up.

HOW LONG HAVE WE BEEN THROTTLING OURSELVES

Because it's far safer to have the inattentive and bad drivers in front of you than behind you.
I would argue that point, that in fact there are drivers I want in front of me, and drivers I want behind me, and they are two different groups.

Of course, some would suggest your first problem was that you were at Burger King to begin with. Then again, I'd suggest it could be 10 times worse: you could be in the drive-thru line at Hardee's/Carl's Jr.

Pump your brakes, mister. Carl's Jr. is a national treasure.

Really? I've never had it. I don't think they have one anywhere near us. Not that I've seen, anyway.
There's not one in my town now, either. I'd have to drive to Houston. But I ate there all the time when I lived in Colorado Springs.

According to their website, the closest one to New Jersey is in Ontario.

Sure, you say that now, but you might feel differently when your favorite white T-shirt is permanently besmirched by barbecue sauce and grease.
I think the more important question is where I'm going to get my hands on a working flux capacitor before dinner time is over. I already know where I can steal borrow a Delorean. :D

Yeah, but where are you going to get the Plutonium? I know some Libyans who'll meet you in a mall parking lot.

Man, I remember seeing that ad in almost every issue of Boy's Life magazine when I was a kid...
I for one was disappointed that I could not see boobs with the x-ray specs.

Not that you'd really want to, you know. Being squished in clothing, they would probably look a little like that underside-of-the-cat photo from a couple of days ago.

Take pictures of the plans and send them to me. Then I can promise one of my kids I'll build it with them, never do it, and thus keep the tradition going!

I would be interested in the plans you have, though. I think I threw out my extra vacuum cleaner motor, but those are easy to come by simply asking around for people's broken vacuums. I just don't think that they're strong enough though - most people are using leaf blowers for their diy hovercraft designs these days.
I'll scan them tomorrow good sir.

I looked all around my hoverboard and it wasn't there.

I actually built a hovercar (it didn't look like that) for a school science project once. And it worked dangerously well, though it was powered by two high powered leaf blower motors.

The reason I say dangerously well is because it could, in theory, get up to a decent speed, but it was unstable as fuck. You wobble on it too much, and one of the sides will hit the ground and then who knows which way it will go.

Damn. ISP got wind. We're back down to the 10 up/10 down we're supposed to get.

Sigh.

He's had some bus issues. Last week his hit a boy on the bus (though he claims he didn't really hit him so I dunno) and the first week of school he had a fight with a little girl. When he came home with his face all scratched and bruised today I had to ask if he instigated but he says he didn't and two older students held him over the seat and beat him up until the driver separated them.

I hope I get the full story tomorrow!

Okay I don't care how petty this complaint is, I gotta get it out some where.

"Hey Mick, what can I do for you?"

Forgetting we had plans, thats always considerate.

"I was wondering if we were still on to go to the bar tonight?"

"Ooh sorry dude, I left my wallet in Voorhees. Latest I'll be home is 10:30."

...GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I mean...REALLY? REALLY?! After all these years its ME who has the better memory of these things? I wouldn't mind as much, if not for the fact that this was a recurring freaking problem with him, though most of the time he has a better excuse than losing his wallet a freaking town over. Just...ARGH! Don't get me wrong, the guy's my best friend and all but it just bugs me is all.

ugh. walking dead starts on sunday and I want to watch the premier. D&D group meets on sunday as well. All I want is a quick confirmation that sundays at 7pm is literally the only time that works for people to play. That's all. I've asked a few times and still can't get information from people.

And the really dumb thing is that I know it's not! we do monday board games as well! Same damn people only their wives and girlfriends come to that too. Only the girls don't play board games they just catch up with each other. And the guys only play like one or two games of dominion these days wich is only 4 players anyway. We could easily just do D&D on monday and nothing of value would be lost.
