I knew I recognized that voice! Looks like a good game; too bad my PC is shit.I got this last year's steam sale and I had the same reaction.
Also, Poe, don't know if you know it or not, but Monkey is voiced and mocapped by Andy Serkis
Well they just announced Dark Souls 3 and it's going to be the end of the "series", as it were. We're likely to see more games of the type from the devs but that STORY is done at least.I knew I recognized that voice! Looks like a good game; too bad my PC is shit.
Speaking of shit, about ready to be done with Dark Souls 2. I'm at level 90 and I'm just not having fun. Whether I'm sweeping through somewhere with ease or struggling against overwhelming odds, I don't feel connected, and it makes neither side of events worthwhile. I never get into the mindset where I forget I'm playing a game. I don't know why, but the magic just isn't there. I'm still willing to try out Demon's Souls, but right now I could be having more fun with Dark Souls 1 or Bloodborne.
And I'm gonna get Dark Souls 3. I don't have a problem with them continuing the story; Dark Souls 2 made it clear which ending from the first game is considered canon. I want them to keep going.Well they just announced Dark Souls 3 and it's going to be the end of the "series", as it were. It's because your companion in the game is a hot redhead, isn't it?Alright, I bought Enslaved, will give it a try. Looks neat.
I've had this for years and never really played it because someone or another would ask to do the group mode and then flake at the last minute.Been playing LotR: War in the North. Not a bad hack/slash, and your AI companions are surprisingly smart most of the time. Combat feels a little slow, but it's still fun and I'm always looking for new LotR games to play that don't suck. I wish they'd port Third Age to PC. Sure it was a straight-up FFX rip-off in combat, but it was still worth a play.
Well it didn't hurt. It's because your companion in the game is a hot redhead, isn't it?
LOTR: The Third Age had 2 great features that not enough games have. First, every single piece of equipment - and there are tons - looks different, so it's very easy to see what your character is equipped with at a given moment, even while travelling. Evil Mode was also great - playing through encounters in an area as the baddies, taking down the heroes, and winning gear for it.Been playing LotR: War in the North. Yeah for the most part War in the North does the equipment thing, but you don't really have to manage your AI companions as they just sort of magically find upgrades as you progress.LOTR: The Third Age had 2 great features that not enough games have. Anyone curious about the ending I got in Witcher 3, shpoilerz:
Ciri lived and became a Witcher. Geralt and Yennifer lived happily together in the north (I know Yen is not the popular choice, especially with people who've played through the old Witcher games, but man, Triss is kind of gross in her manipulations and advantage taking...). Keira ended up with Lambert which is super gross because fuck both of them. Cerys rules Skellige nobley and excellently. Emhyr conquered the north but conceded Temeria back to Temerians as a self ruling vassal state. Let Radovid get shanked. Couldn't let Dijkstra kill my bros Thaler, Roche and Ves so he ended up cut in half. I think that's about it.
The original was good but the Director's Cut is so much better, if only because you get some extra missions and some fun new Cyberware.Shadowrun Dragonfall - Glad for once reviews for a game met it's measure. Fantastic.
