That first match, was that the same Justin Wong who got owned by Daigo in that famous Street Fighter video?Pokken Tournament. It's a Pokemon fighting game, and it looks pretty fun.
This is the footage from what I think is the first tournament for the game.
Blech, Metal Gear Solid 5 will have microtransactions to unlock multiplayer modes. DON'T WORRY THOUGH, you can earn the currency in single player. This is always painless and fun and in no way grindy and soul-sucking.

Misread that as Pokemon. Got a wonderful mental image.THE FUCKING PROTOMEN ARE IN ROCK BAND 4
Misread that as "metal," which made me think of James Hetfield as Pikachu.Misread that as Pokemon. Got a wonderful mental image.
I'm expecting it to be The Will of One, Keep Quiet, Light Up The Night, or possibly one of their many awesome covers... but who knows? We might get one of the two done Act III songs (Hold Back the Night and This City Made Us) instead.THE FUCKING PROTOMEN ARE IN ROCK BAND 4
I think this one was featured in the Kickstarter thread a few moons agoI just heard about this game via a PC Gamer article. Looks pretty neat. It's a western, but with X-Com controls.
They've already announced the list, it's Light Up The Night, which is what I figured.I'm expecting it to be The Will of One, Keep Quiet, Light Up The Night, or possibly one of their many awesome covers... but who knows? The overall setlist is just okay, unfortunately. They seem to be moving away from the mainly classic rock tracks. There's still quite a few, but they're balanced out by a healthy dose of modern stuff I've never heard. That's cool, but not worth buying Rock Band 4 for.
I've been eyeing it.GOG now offers Bethesda classics, including most/all of the earlier TES titles and the Fallout series. DRM free; of course.
It means it runs on windows 7/8/10.I've been eyeing it.
I want to know what "updated for modern platforms" means.

It's it's on GOG, it almost always means "it will run on modern operating systems".I've been eyeing it.

I haven't looked too closely, but usually it means emulating VESA compliant video in software. It only occasionally causes issues that I've experienced, and I've bought a dozen or so games that use this method from GOG. The only one I ever had issues with was Interstate 76, because that wasn't a dos game and thus couldn't use dosbox to easily emulate the antiquated hardware/drivers, and the direct3d handling was pretty awful back then....that's what I want to know.
Does it achieve compatibility by going lowest common denominator? If so, no thanks.
If it actually takes advantage of DX11/DX12 or something, then that's a different story.

They just got a pretty big payday from WoW for doing a short series on it. It was a COMPLETE DISASTER but entertaining.Nice to see the grumps can still get a payday.
They're on good terms with a few names in various fields. Holly/Ross are good with Yacht Club, and Arin/Danny talk about knowing Justin Roiland (Rick & Morty, AT) pretty often (and the guy's Tweeted about wanting to be on the show).Nice to see the grumps can still get a payday.
