Make sure you let it all slough off before you leave for the day.Another day, another slough of technical problems
I can tell this isn't a real kendo match, because in a real kendo match the kendoka would be wearing colored strips of cloth on their backs, corresponding to the red and white flags held by the referee. That's how you know who the referee is awarding a point to when he raises a flag.

ftfyI can tell this isn't a real kendo match, because of some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few kendo matches in my time.
You should probably start by making sure she gets medical attention...Mother in law was in a car accident last night and broke both wrists.
This is going to be my first major test as a son in law... and as a man.
Holy crap I have no idea what to do.
Ooh, good idea! I'm going to start with that. You should probably start by making sure she gets medical attention...
Seriously though, start by figuring out a plan to make sure everything she will need gets taken care of. Many basic things that seem simple will be impossible without function of hands like eating, bathing and dressing.Mother in law was in a car accident last night and broke both wrists.

First things first, make sure she doesn't suspect you. Then carry out your backup plan.Mother in law was in a car accident last night and broke both wrists.

This. Make sure she actually has enough forks and spoons, because chopsticks are going to be impossible.Seriously though, start by figuring out a plan to make sure everything she will need gets taken care of. Come up with a plan to help her with all of these kinds of things so she doesn't have to worry about it. Delegate as you can but just figure out a plan anyway. Know when she needs to be places, particularly medical appointments and make sure she's got a way to get there.
At first I thought this was going to be a really interesting round of the hokey-pokey.You take the nut off the cable.
You put the nut on the cable.

You put the nut on the cable.
You put the cable away.
HOW FUCKING HARD IS THAT TO FUCKING UNDERSTAND!!!!!
"I hate lawyers. When are they gonna get done PRACTICING law?" - FrancisThat may be part of it - they're "practicing" and not "actively doing."
Dangerous!! Can you see someone else?My poor wife had to take the first available appointment at her doctor's office and couldn't see her regular doctor (because for the third time in under a year, the doctor she was seeing is no longer at that clinic), and the person she wound up seeing was a Doctor of Osteopathy. She presented with symptoms of strep-throat (100F+ fever for more than 7 days, sore throat with red and white lesions present, swollen glands that are tender to the touch, etc.), and rather than running a culture of any kind, the "doctor" recommended Flonase if it doesn't go away on its own soon; and then refused to refill any of her daily maintenance prescriptions (blood pressure meds, Adderall, sleeping meds, hormone therapy, anti-depressants), because he doesn't believe in medication. Her body is out of balance and she needs a better diet and more exercise, then all of her other symptoms will go away.
Sounds like there's a reason why her regular doctor decided not to stay at that clinic. My poor wife had to take the first available appointment at her doctor's office and couldn't see her regular doctor (because for the third time in under a year, the doctor she was seeing is no longer at that clinic), and the person she wound up seeing was a Doctor of Osteopathy. Yeah, we're gonna move her to the clinic I use, and the LPN that I see, in a completely different provider network.[DOUBLEPOST=1445646893,1445646829][/DOUBLEPOST]Dangerous!! Can you see someone else?
Yeah, they've had some administrative changes in the past 12 months and lost a lot of their better doctors and MAs.Sounds like there's a reason why her regular doctor decided not to stay at that clinic.
Hiding a key in a "clever" or "unique" or whatever location is the number one way to get burgled. Far better to give a key to someone local you know and trust. So I was thinking this morning that since I live alone now, I should probably hide a spare key somewhere around my house in case I'm ever stupid enough to lock myself out and HEY GUESS WHAT HAPPENED JUST A FEW HOURS LATER.
Minor rant because my mom has a copy and is on her way over, but I'm sitting here in shame for now.
I agree, it would be great to have one of those...Far better to give a key to someone local you know and trust.

...maybe it isn't as difficult as you'd imagine. Like when your car is in your garage and your keys are in your car and your garage is locked. That's a completely hypothetical situation of courseIt's MUCH more difficult to lock yourself out of both at the same time.
This is not an attempt at a challenge.
