YOU AINT SEEN SHIT YET!Just what the fuck, Japan.
Honestly, I watched that clip and laughed at how that might actually be a pretty realistic interpretation of trying to ride a broomstick. [emoji14] (except why would you do that with no pants on?! THE CHAFING!)YOU AINT SEEN SHIT YET!
notice how indoctrinated and desensitized i am that the panty shots don't even register in my senses. I just see girls with no pants flying with plan pants and shooting big guns.
Because as a Japanese female under the age of 30, you are not allowed to wear pants, and your panties must be the thinnest pure cotton fabric available.Honestly, I watched that clip and laughed at how that might actually be a pretty realistic interpretation of trying to ride a broomstick. Besides, tentacle monsters are slimy anyway.Plus I don't think anime girls have to worry about chafing unless it is being used as a plot device.
a manifestation of their magical power(cough fetish fuel cough cough)Besides, tentacle monsters are slimy anyway.
What got me as the most unnecessary bit was the disappearing cat ears. Just... what?
I guess you could view it that way. I don't think it's that deep, though. Seems more like a metaphor for otaku than minorities.Judging from your description, am I right to assume its one of those series that uses monsters as a metaphor for minorities? Because the last series I read that actually made that work was One Piece, and even then it wasn't because the World Government feared them but because they see them as less than human despite similar ancestry. Also they added the slavery angle, that REALLY humanized it....when they weren't making the slavers hilarious of course.
Not yet, it hasn't finished airing in Japan. You can, however, watch it on funimation.com (I believe they have it listed as Noragami episodes 13 onwards, instead of separating by season/show).Noragami is a solid show, I really enjoyed it. Is the second season on Netflix?
wow way to shill funi, what the actual fuck...
Oh god, we're so OLD NOW.
It doesn't have the pacing issues because it was originally based on a webcomic. One Punch Man
...okay I'm confused now. Did I just watch a show based on a popular manga, that was almost COMPLETELY accurate to the story...while not being slow as all hell?! Is that a thing now?! Let's keep it going! And really hoping for season 2.
I think its more that the show was made QUITE a few years after the manga and web-comic. If I rememher correctly the chapters could be PRETTY long, if Toei was in charged they'd take studio Mad's 12 episode epic and make it 52 episodes. It doesn't have the pacing issues because it was originally based on a webcomic.
I still need to get the original, maybe ill use one of my Christmas amazon cards.Bubblegum Crisis
Fucking LOVING this series, its like if Blade Runner, Akira, Power Rangers and Dirty Pair had an awesome mutant descendant!
It's important to mention that it's not a finished series ether... it ended one episode before they could end things. It's also got numerous spin-offs and OVAs.Go for it, the original dub is both bad AND great simultaneously.
I own 2040 and crash. What else is there? It's important to mention that it's not a finished series ether... it ended one episode before they could end things. It's also got numerous spin-offs and OVAs.
AD Police Files, AD Police: To Serve and Protect and AD Police: Parasite Dolls.I own 2040 and crash. What else is there?
Such a weird idea for a sequel series"Here's an idea! You know that police group that almost ALWAYS got murdered horribly? Well let's make THEM the main characters now, they'll last a while!" Again, I'm going just by what I've seen from series one.AD Police Files, AD Police: To Serve and Protect and AD Police: Parasite Dolls.
