Random Video Game Crap

I've seen the same done with movie reviews. "Dazzling effects can't mask insipid writing and cliched characters" becomes "Dazzling effects!"

Tried playing L4D2 Versus.

Halfway through, they kicked me, even though I was following directions and it was a different guy who set off the horde beforehand.

I bet even Terrik never faced this kind of rejection.

Anyone playing Motorsport Manager? Manage your own F1 team. And when I say manage your own team that looks to be a bit more literal for some of us than others...

Everytime that's happened to me, I assumed it's because they had a friend who wanted to join the game, and I was the stranger they didn't know, so...

They said "You had one job!" And then voted to boot me. I think they had an issue with me.
Oh. In that case, yeah, screw 'em.

This actually reminds me of this group of Singaporeans I used to play with sometimes. They were Canadian-tier polite. They were always kind to new players, helping them throughout the match, giving them tips, sincerely congratulating the other team when they won, etc. I ended up Steam friending all of them, then a year or two ago all of them dropped off the face of the Earth. Wonder what happened to them.

Conan O'Brien and Elijah Wood play Final Fantasy XV and prove Jim Sterling right once again.

The game looks breathtakingly beautiful and absolutely no fun at all to play.

Man, I still don't know what I missed in Skyrim. Apparently, everyone thought it was a gift from Heaven except for me. I mean, it was pretty and all, but like 90% of your time, you're clodding around pushing Mouse Button 1 repeatedly. Or crafting 47,000 iron daggers to level smithing or equivalent. I go to work for a job. I don't need a game to simulate one for me.

Did you try playing as a stealth class? Makes it a lot more fun IMO. Sure, if you take heavy armor and weapons, by level 25 you can just hold down W+M1 and mow your way through any dungeon, but when you start trying to be fancy, things get giggly.

Yep. One playthrough as a stealth conjuration mage, one as a sword and board fighter. The conjuration mage was even easier. The Dremora Lord takes down everyone before I can even move, and you can level up to him pretty quickly.

You know what I meant by stealth class - and not a stealth MAGE.

Try a stealth dagger user. Or even an archer.

I mean, to be fair they're looking at what are probably the slower parts of any RPG (wandering around town, moving to a quest, etc). I've played the demos and the combat's actually pretty fun.

Still, though, I'm not getting my hopes up after XIII and its sequels. Plus they've yet to announce a PC port and since I don't own a current-gen system I'd have no way to play it anyway.

e: I should point out my brother owns an XBone, which is how I've played the demos.

They haven't yet announced a release date, but have said the PC version will launch at some point after the PS4/xbone release

Somehow I got the "spend $100 get $15" PSN credit, but ... I don't think I spent $100 since October 1st. Unless redeeming my Dark Souls 3 Season Pass counts, but I doubt it.

Weird.

EDIT: Never mind -_-.
