The EPIC WIN Thread 3: SON OF EPIC

Right there with you.
I just received an offer on the house I'm selling, but it's only for ~70% of my asking price.
Still, it will be nice to not have a mortgage hanging over my head. Might enable some upward mobility at work, too.

Oh she's been "Checked out" for a while now, by her own admission.
Only because I'm too organized for my own good. I have nothing left to work on at work, and 6 weeks left. The downsides of being your own boss I suppose. And now I don't even have committee work to take up time. *le sigh*

I weighed myself recently. I'm down to 230 pounds. That's down 10 pounds from about November-December. The step counter on my phone has helped keep me in check.

Today, I did the 50-minute DDP Yoga Diamond Cutter workout. Had to modify a lot of the workout, like go to my knees for pushups in order to pace myself for the whole workout. Even on my knees, I still couldn't do the 10-second pushup at the tail end. That needs more work. Still, I'm getting there again.

WHY ISN'T YOUR HAIR RED ANY MORE.

The red faded quickly so I went black for awhile but when I decided to try and bleach it back to another color the black was too dyed in to remove but the first few inches. Once it grows out more I plan to have red fading to black or something similar.

Wait, who are you on FB? I don't think I have you.

On Facebook it is B.r.i.a.n F.r.a.s.e.r right now although I will be changing it to my preferred name in a few days if Facebook lets me

Thanks. Don't know if you want to leave that up there all public and everything.

This isn't an epic win for me, but a special friend that is graduating high school this year. Justin in the BIG fellow in the picture that follows, he's 20. Tonight (well last night technically) he was announced as homecoming king for his high school. The kids in his graduating class are going out of the way to make this a super special year for him, in a couple of weeks he's going to get to take a couple of free throws during senior night (the opposing coach has already agreed to this) and his mom was worried about him walking the stage in May for graduation. Some of his friends approached her about that earlier this year, and they told her that they would take care of him and he will walk across the stage with his class on graduation night. This young man is the best example that I can put forth of a human having unconditional love, he is truly a special person that had one of the most special nights of his life.

I'm assuming all five digits were to the left of the decimal.

It was a $15000.00 dollar increase. Long overdue and everyone in the PMO is happy for me.

I also am now eligible for bonuses which is nice considering max performance is another 5 digit or a high 4 digit.

Gotta pay off this house and start going to awesome places not called Winnipeg.

Well, that certainly puts you firmly in the "more than I'll probably ever make in my lifetime" category.

I more than doubled my salary after I left IT about 7 years ago. Best choice ever.

Going into project management was a thought an old boss had for me to do which I took on begrudgingly.

I didn't know I would have been this passionate and have thrived in this new role.

So, I occasionally play with an Irish group on Thursdays. So, I was talking with a co-worker in another office today, and she asked "Hey, were you at Magoos on Thursday?"

Turns out, a friend of hers had seen me playing, took a snapchat video and sent her a pic--all without knowing that I worked with her. So she sent it to me.
