Station engineer needed to load something on a machine that needed a USB flash drive formatted to FAT32 today. He ran afoul of FAT32's size limit.
I've tried it in both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports on my computer.
My current theory, is that Windows 10 is installing its own shitty generic tablet driver when I reboot to finalize the installation, and the two drivers are fighting one another. I already tried disconnecting from the internet to stop it from happening but I am going to try again tonight and disable automatic driver updates before I do.
edit That, plus disconnecting and reconnecting EVERYTHING seems to have done the trick. Finally going to get to. Test this thing out tonight.

Also this morning I set my alarm for 6:15 so I could get stuff done and still get to work by 9:45.
Woke up on my own at 8, looked at my phone, saw that it was still sitting at "Confirm 6:15a alarm? [y/n]."

I'm a little sore this morning after ordering my uniforms for school in the new year. I require 2 white chef's jackets and 2 navy chef's pants (SCHOOL APPROVED). I had to call and research what the fuck they meant by school approved. Apparently they have their own branded outfits that have the school logos on them we must purchase....at like more than twice the price of a white chef's jacket or pants anywhere else I can find.

I'm 100% certain google is sharing my searches with ebay. Five times in the last month, I've gotten an e-mail from e-bay about "ARE YOU STILL INTERESTED IN X?" within 24 hours of me doing a google search for X (but not an e-bay search, or even going to e-bay that day).
The latest was, yesterday I searched for the Polaris Starter CV (a ship blueprint commonly used in Empyrion).
Today I got an e-mail from ebay titled "ARE YOU STILL INTERESTED IN POLARIS STARTERS?" and links to auctions of starters for Polaris ATVs (the thing that cranks the engine when you turn the key).
So much for not sharing your info, huh.

I am about to be forced out of my current cozy 9' by 9' cubicle with 7' tall walls. And then into 7' by 7' and 5'6" tall walls. I am so stressed out now, because I am losing that sense of security and privacy that my large walls provided. Now I will also have to sit where everyone can see what I am working on by just passing by. I am too paranoid for this move...
I dropped my phone a while back (well, it was knocked out of my hand) and the screen was severely cracked. It still worked, though, so I figured I'd just live with it. But the phone's been developing more and more problems since then. First it'd have trouble connecting to a mobile signal, then it'd start randomly restarting itself, and now I can't even get to the home screen without crashes.
So now it'll have to be replaced, and that's another expense I'm not looking forward to given that we're destitute students in the UK right now.
