Doesn't marriage get you citizenship?
The cruelty is the point, etc, etc.
No. You are eligible for Citizenship after 3 years of marriage + being a green card holder. I may or may not have personal experience with this.Doesn't marriage get you citizenship?
A lot of stuff changed in 1996, including a requirement to hold permanent resident status (Green Card) for 3yrs. Oh and if you are caught lying about your citizenship status before you’re actually naturalized, you forfeit your chance at ever becoming one.Doesn't marriage get you citizenship?
I agree, there are more important things than living. The problem is that the economy is not one of them.

Naturally, but it's about making a statement, and its a statement that I don't necessarily disagree with. I have similar opinions on the Wisconsin-resolution after the PRC consulate asked the Wisconsin senate to pass a resolution that essentially said "China is great."Missouri sues Chinese government over Covid-19,
I assume this is just pointless political grandstanding since Missouri has absolutely zero authority over what a foreign government does in their own country.
Yes but it’s Missouri’s right to sue if they want to, right? Tenth Amendment, and all that? I mean, there’s no federal-level Constitutional provision telling the states “Don’t be stupid.”Missouri sues Chinese government over Covid-19,

I'm not sure this would be a tenth amendment issue. It seems more in the vein of international diplomacy, which is definitely in the Federal government's wheelhouse.Yes but it’s Missouri’s right to sue if they want to, right? Keeping things closed and hurting the economy is someone else's fault.I'm genuinely surprised
We should build a wall. You know... being in Canada... watching what is going on in the USA with this outbreak seems too crazy to actually be real.
And make Americans pay for it?We should build a wall.
No no, see we use reverse psychology. We'll say "We're planning on building the Great Canadian Wall. It will be the greatest monument you've ever seen. Something that will be forever remembered! There's no WAY you guys could build a wall along the Canadian border that's better. In fact, I bet you could build one before us!"And make Americans pay for it?
