For the first time since I became a Bus Driver for MPS - heck, I think this even counts as the first time ever - I had to do a live online training to maintain my safety certification hours.

What was funny was that one of the trainers had their dog barking in the background at the start of the presentation.

My hair got too long so I ordered an electric clipper online (amazing what new bussiness appear when you can't go out) and cut my hair. First, my hair is a lot less tupid than it used to be. Second, for some reason seeing me in the mirror made think of my maternal grandfather. I barely remember him, so I asked my mom and she said he used his hair like that.

Me, thinking of Scotty: "Hmm... two hours." (When I think it'd really only take one hour)

My supervisor: "Really? It'd only take you two hours to do the whole thing? I'm talking about the whole thing here, not just the first part."

Me: "Uh..." (Cue frantically looking over the case again in case I missed some hidden pitfalls)

I'm constantly surprised when I ask for a customer's driver's license to create or verify an account, they tell me it's in their car.

Maybe it's just me, but that feels like an unwise thing to do? To leave ID like that in the car? The number of people that do it surprises me.

I wanted an arcade cabinet, but then played a bunch of arcade games and realized I'd rather play Switch/PC games.

I wanted a desk, but realized I wanted a set up that allowed for a minimum of three monitors when I'm working.

Now I want a desk that looks like three arcade cabinets standing next to each other. This quarantine is doing strange things to my mind.

Uhg... My niece graduates this year. And my brother is throwing a graduation party. It is on a ranch with at least a square mile of space. But it just does not seem right.

I'm scheduled to throw a graduation party at the end of June, and I don't see any way to do it safely, so without coming right out and saying so yet, I would imagine I'm just out a few hundred dollars in rental deposits.

I'm kind of glad my son is pretty indifferent about graduating, so we have nothing to cancel.

My buddy invited me over for Cinco De Mayo Taco Tuesday (I've been waiting for this day all my life.) But he did not tell me he invited 2 other families over. I had fun but I was fairly anxious with kids around during these times.

And my Mexican friend made hand fried crunchy tacos. Which are freaking delicious.

I brought the virus beer.

I just spend around 150€ at a wholesale store that is selling their meat cheaper since the restaurants and hotels arent ordering anymore.
got 10kg beef sirloin,shortrib and ribeye. It's going straigt into my freezer. Also bones to make a awsome demiglace.

According to Lartist, the full commercial goes on to explain there's actually some kind of cash grant that goes along with it, but it's been cut for maximum WTF.
