Feds on the ground in Portland are actively working to burn down the trees in the parks nearby, to "deny violent anarchists the resources and means to fight back." Because they've been using so many trees in their graffiti.
Portland:
That being said, last night was largely quiet on a federal reprisal level. Unfortunately, that didn't stop the fascist goon squads from being out, and Proud Boys were responsible for starting at least half a dozen fights at the Justice Center both before and after the feds came out and gassed the Mom's March. The Portland Protest Bureau was also on site, disrupting the protest and leading half their numbers away for a pointless march around the block. This has been a division tactic for the last several weeks. Portland Protest Bureau is known to be linked with/sympathetic to the Portland Police Bureau. In previous weeks, when the cops would be getting ready to kettle protesters, the PProtestB would miraculously lead a march into the kettle zone just as the cops were getting ready to charge.
Leaders of the PProtestB also include "Lyfe" - a violent rapist - and Demetre Tavarres - a violent rapist who molested his own younger sister. PProtestB had been mostly removed from the scene and left behind for the last several weeks, but they came out in force last night to shame the crowd for allowing too many white people to control the narrative, then took the vast majority of the black protesters with them off on a march to nowhere. Hopefully that march wasn't kettled, but we may never know, because they try very hard to disallow any streaming of their marches. Make no mistake, I am actively accusing the PProtestB of working with and for the PPoliceB. I am not alone, not by a long shot.
The man who stood against a direct assault by multiple federal officers only to turn away from their stream of pepper spray, flip them the double bird, and rock on out is @Tazerface16 on Twitter. He is definitely former-Navy, where he competed on their wrestling team. He has a severely broken hand. The hand surgeon has splinted it for now, but there are apparently plates/screws/pins in his future on Friday.
Columbus, OH:
Yesterday, several fascist/pro-Trump militias marched on the state capital building to protest the "tyrannical mask rule." That's all the coverage they get from me.
Chicago, IL:
Protesters in Chicago last night marched on Mayor Lightfoot's condo/apartment/whatsit, where they faced the threat of kettling. Streamers and establishment media alike reported many difficulties either going live or uploading pre-recorded videos. With the cops and feds having access to Stingray devices to shut down mobile service, this has been a concern we've seen everywhere from Seattle to, well, Chicago. The kettle failed, as we were able to redirect members of another protest location to the intersection and eventually the cops let the protesters leave.
Austin, TX:
With Hiram in jail, coverage was largely unavailable. What we did see seemed to be focused on the main intersection that Austin always protests at (sorry, Texans, I don't know the street names, I believe one of them is an interstate).
Atlanta, GA:
Police made several arrests at a protest for Rashad, but it didn't look like there was a mass reprisal by cops like we've been having on the west coast.
