Yeah, one does not get to choose who rapes their ancestors.
I see what you did there! Are you doubting Thomas?
Yeah, he just had to throw his hand in.I see what you did there!
Poor @Dave.I'm also still not clear on why it matters. We're all descendants of victors, winners, conquerors (well, except for @Dave since he predates the concept of war). The odds of at least one of your ancestors being a rapist, slave owner, murderer, or - by modern standards - pedophile are pretty much 99%+. You're not responsible for the actions of your ancestors
Phrasing! Ha!fucking crone
I mean, a lot of Dems also endorsed AOC's challenger too.
This fucking crone.
Remember the bullshit about never endorsing primary challengers over incumbent Democrats?
The Democratic establishment kind of hates The Squad except when it's helping their overall political aims? Like, it's very clear that if the actual voting public had any say in the matter, AOC would have Nancy's job.I mean, a lot of Dems also endorsed AOC's challenger too.
I seriously doubt that. The Democratic establishment kind of hates The Squad except when it's helping their overall political aims? Like, it's very clear that if the actual voting public had any say in the matter, AOC would have Nancy's job.
They aren't courting the left at all.I seriously doubt that.
There's a large, and growing, progressive left wing to the party, but the establishment in DC really isn't the only place where moderate /conservative voices are heard. Biden is courting the center right as much as the left, and there's a reason for it. Inertia and age and stuff, sure... But if the choice was Trump vs AOC, I'm pretty sure Trump would win by a landslide.
Because he's actually a conservative and a war criminal to boot. And who's talking about AOC for President (yet)? I'm talking as Speaker. Not only can she run circles around her political opponents, she actually has a progressive platform. Nancy can't and doesn't.I seriously doubt that.

This. Any gains we've gained have been at the tip of sword lately. They aren't courting the left at all.
I'm just going to assume that conservative media has already mocked this poor child for his stutter, and for any number of other things. Because that's what they do.
So, Democrats.it seems like the only way a 3rd party will gain any traction would be to have a 3rd party that plays the middle, and not the far side of either party.
I was more hoping for “rational human beings,” but I suppose that’s a start. So, Democrats.
Yeah, a third party will grow on the left, not in the middle. But three parties isn't stable in our system and one will get crowded out.So, Democrats.
I see this as endemic to our species, and not just politics. Pepsi/Coke, Windows/Mac, Charter/Comcast, Intel/AMD (CPUs), NVIDIA/AMD (GPUs), etc. Whatever sector it might be, when there’s no external influence preventing it, forces gravitate until there are just the two “big ones” and then everyone else.three parties isn't stable in our system and one will get crowded out.
Even if Biden was a conservative, he'd still be a hundred times better than an actual fascist who wants to destroy democracy.
I am one of those guys. I've always voted libertarian because I refused to compromise my principles. The idea that you don't vote the lesser evil because it's still evil and implies support has always struck me as a privileged idea.
Likewise. And the fact that there are so many people who are not terrified, and who in fact desire that very thing terrifies me even more.Trump getting another term literally terrifies me.
