Kanye West has been banned from Twitter after posting a swastika designed to look like a Star of David and sharing personal text messages the rapper had with Twitter owner Elon Musk. It’s not immediately clear if West was actually banned for the swastika or for publicly sharing his texts from Musk (Gizmodo)

I fucking laughed out loud at the trending bar on my Twitter today. Every single trend in Canada was Chinese characters from hundreds of thousands of bots.

Except for the anti-vaccination trend, which with only 1/100th of the tweets, was someone trending number 1.

I'm firmly convinced the window for implosion and repalcement has passed. People are already used to the new status quo. This sort of crappier service with less support and more abuse is the new normal, people will complain but life will go on just as before, just a tad bit worse; as per usual.

This is the core to their entire ideology, they don't give a rats ass for freedom for everyone or a level playing field, they just want to make sure they are the ones that get to be privileged. All the rest of the yelling about freedom of speech or cancelling is just a smoke screen.

The part that gets is me is claiming it's woke leftists......in a fucking San Francisco Dave Chapelle show. The only people who could afford to be there are tech employees, who should be Elon's bread and butter.

Supposedly Ukraine was removed from the country phone list when verifying an account (required to even sign up) . This comes right on the heels of Russia saying they were going to pull back their Twitter ban due to "change of ownership and ideals."

I hate this timeline and I hate how powerless I feel to do anything about it.
