YouTube suggested I watch the music video "K/DA POP/STARS", which I enjoy so I pressed play, and it was interesting to see just how much of what they did in that video from 6 years ago made it into Arcane, and how far they've come with that animation style.

Oh man, yeah... the video that launched Akali's R34 career. That track became one of my go-to songs in Beat Saber, too.

The Lower Decks finale was amazing as expected, and I'm not just sitting here DESPERATELY hoping they do more with these characters because DAMMIT if I don't love them!

And Creature Commandos continues to blend over the top super hero violence, with gut wrenching back stories!

I'm only marking "this needs to be explained" because the post embedded within Mike's post requires being logged in to view, and I haven't created a BS acct yet.

Invincible FIght Girl's season finale went out with a BANG, really hope it gets a second season, as WELL as just be freaking aired on Cartoon Network, as how the hell is this an adult show?

I think they thought this would appeal to the anime crowd more than the cartoon crowd. It's not like they have any other action shows in the line-up, outside of the adultswim anyway... I don't think they have since Steven Universe stopped airing.

Castlevania: Nocture season 2

This was a huge improvement over season 1. The writing, characters, animation, fight scenes, basically everything was improved, and felt more like the first Castlevania series.

So yeah as a whole, I'd say the first Creature Commandos season was fine...but I really hope they get a full 10 episode season as season one felt rushed, be it how they took out the bad guy, or Nina's origin not syncing up for why she's on a team of commandos. Like, she had literally no combat experience, nor a history of violence, and the worst crime she did was public vagrancy, not to mention that despite genetic augmentations she IS human so Amanda broke her own god damn rule, same with Doc Phosphorous (although he at least I can see on a Commando team).

Like I said, the season was fine as a whole, but season two needs to raise the bar from it is all I'm saying.

Also on a more critical note, when it was announced I was hoping it'd be a WW2 period piece much like the comics, rather than just being "Suicide Squad the animated series but with Creature Commandos paint".

Guess they got more budget for making the pretty pictures move this time.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man

YEAH...if you've seen or read...ANYTHING related to Spider-man, its not...ANYTHING new, at least if the premiere is any indication. Also they made Lonnie Lincoln NOT an albino so...there's that.

I completely disagree that there's nothing new. They've tried a ton of new things with the classic Spider-man tropes already through two episodes, and knowing the tropes in my opinion makes it better. It's much better than the 3rd season of What-If so far, which surprises me since they've effectively buried this show for whatever reason.

The Witcher: Sirens of the deep

The movie is getting a lot of flag online but I liked it. Is it the best movie of all time? No. It has a very predictable story, you know who the bad guy is very fast and the animation is questionable at times. But it's not the worst thing that happend to The Witcher. I liked the interaction between Geralt and Jaskier. I also liked female support and Geralt's love interest Essi. It's great she didn't turn into a damsel in distress. The best part of the movie, Geralt is voiced by Doug Cockle who voiced him in The Witcher 3.
