At launch, SC2 was a massively disappointing experience. They completely changed the economy paradigm from pay-as-you-go to all-paid-up-front, massively nerfed experimentals, made the maps smaller, and abandoned iterative tech upgrades for a third type of self-generated resource called "research" that you spent in a tree.By the way, what's your take on Supreme Commander 2? I never really played through 1, mostly because at the time my computer couldnt handle it. I eventually played all of Supreme Commander 2, believe it or not, on Xbox 360 and I enjoyed it. I was also always a big fan of Total Annihilation. I heard a lot of people put down SC2 as inferior to SC1 citing less units or certain changes in gameplay.

It wasn't the worst RTS I'd ever played, but it sure as hell wasn't supreme commander. I hear they've patched some of that in the meantime, but I'm already too soured on it to give it another chance. If you want to experience the best RTS ever released, get Supreme Commander:Forged Alliance. While technically an "expansion" of the first SC, it is standalone.
Only if they fucking test it first. The original was a buggy mess like every other Troika/Obsidian game. You know what I would kill for? A part 2 of Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura made by Obsidian.
Nothing quite worked like it was supposed to. Guns ether did too much damage or way, way too little... game would think you had followers you didn't... quests wouldn't trigger. At launch is was awful. You really need the fan patch to fix a lot of it.Buggy in what way? I never had a problem.
Can't wait for tales for Shegs Shep and her romance adventures.Sadly I couldn't recreate Shegokigo Shepard exactly from my first play through but I got close enough. Initially an Infiltrator I'm going Vanguard for this. It's pretty interesting combining Biotics with Combat. It's early so what I'm doing is "Throwing" one target, then Barrier'ing up, rushing in deep and unloading my shotgun on everything near me. It's pretty fun so far.
I've gotten a little over halfway through it. When I hit Phon Coast for the first time the game ramps up in difficulty and I got tired of grinding for LP and Gil, plus playing catch-up with the backup characters. I did some of the hunts but those get stupid hard too. the mobs take waaaaaaaaaaaay too long to kill (the last hunt has over 50 million hp).I'm still putting off playing 12....
I wandered around the ship quite a bit before actually getting anywhere. I also talked to everyone! But only once. No more talking to people 3 times, expecting different things to happen...Getting pretty... not far in Mass Effect. Having a lot of fun just wandering a bit.
Easter Egg : If you talk to Wrex in ME1 when he's on the ship and only click on Goodbye the moment you start conversation with him 10-12 times, a hidden cutscene starts.I wandered around the ship quite a bit before actually getting anywhere. I believe everything you just said.Easter Egg : If you talk to Wrex in ME1 when he's on the ship and only click on Goodbye the moment you start conversation with him 10-12 times, a hidden cutscene starts.
I would sell my left testicle to get Dungeon Keeper 3.I want Dungeon Keeper 3. Evil Genius was a good stopgap, but with only 2 levels it didn't last.
Yep, the most famous squad member-related cutscene in ME1. The equivalent of Mordin's Gilbert and Sullivan scene in ME2, I'd say.Easter Egg : If you talk to Wrex in ME1 when he's on the ship and only click on Goodbye the moment you start conversation with him 10-12 times, a hidden cutscene starts.
My Advice? Don't bother with your back-ups until your at max level and filled the boards of your mains. Even at low levels you'll have plenty of time to use a phoenix down on one of your mains. Also, ALWAYS have a Golden Amulet and an Embroided Tippet on your characters at all times until they max the their levels/license boards. You will level at an astounding rate and be maxed board long before the end of the game.I've gotten a little over halfway through it. Yeah I think I have 5/6 Golden Amulets, the only time I trade them out is on bosses for immunities and for a Gauntlet on Basch (he's my tank) until the boss is about to die. I'm not sure I've gotten any Tippets yet, I'd have to open the game up and check, been a couple months. I actually enjoy the Gambit thing a bit more now than I did back when I first played, I think my only issue all in all is keeping up in Gil for upgrades (I do try to have people steal from everything I fight, which tends to make grinding take a lot longer). My Advice? I have tried multiple times to get through this game, but once you get good gambits going, it just becomes running around until you aggro and then everything goes on autopilot. My Advice? It's entirely different than the original on the SNES, but that's not a bad thing. It's much more like the rest of the series, but with expanded plot.Is that game worth it on PC? I've been staring at it on Steam debating on buying it or not.
Pretty much this Frank . It's a remake of Ys III, but in an isometric style instead of side-scrolling. It's totally worth it, imo, I loved (and own) the SNES version, but this plays like a dream and it's challenging as fuck. If you want a good adventure RPG, I really recommend picking this up. Fair warning, though, much like the JRPGs of yore it has some of those "how would I have known about these treasures/sidequests without a guide" moments, so don't be afraid to follow a walkthrough or FAQ.It's entirely different than the original on the SNES, but that's not a bad thing.
