What are you playing?

Trust me, you will not be disapointed in Darsksiders. It's a quality game, especially for 7.00. I absolutely loved it and can't wait for Darksiders 2 to come out. I wonder if they will be going through all 4 of the horsemen. First is War, second is going to be Death. I look forward to Plague and Famine.

I look forward to Plague and Famine.
They're Fury and Strife in the Darksiders universe.

I enjoyed the game, and the characters are interesting, even if the fiction is ridiculous.I tried reading the comic that came with the game, but it was so bad I couldn't make sense of it even after playing the game. The over-the-top world works for an action game, so I guess I can't knock it too much. It's not a perfect game, but it's a damn good one.

Fuckin' Joe Mad. Everyone was so stoked for Battlechasers waaaaay back when. We got like 4 issues spread out over a year and a half before he pretty much quit drawing comics to play video games full time.

Everything has been put on hold for Skyrim.

However, it is to be noted I am about 4hrs into a fresh ME1 playthrough
Returning to Skyrim after a break feels so damn refreshing. I didn't even care what I was doing last night--I just wandered. Killed some bears, some forsworn, met a ghost. Didn't bother questing or trying to accomplish anything. Though I did shudder when I was peacefully walking the road and a dragon's huge shadow crossed two feet in front of my character.

At some point I gotta start Fallout: New Vegas again. It's not as relaxing as Skyrim, but I haven't given it the time or attention it deserves.

Also, I've done everything I can in ME1 before a certain thing. I never know whether I'm approaching end game or not, but I'm at level 41, so I must be getting close.

I recall Mass Effect 1 made the "point of no return" fairly intuitive. Unlike Mass Effect 2, where if you did a certain mission too early, you lose your crew.

Yeah, ME1's point of no return had the same feel as a Final Fantasy one. Also, finished the game. That was an INCREDIBLE climax. I loved every moment of that, even though I must've died a dozen times. Fantastic every step of the way.

Though I was pissed when...
I let the Council die as I deemed the lives of three people to be less significant than ALL people... But I was hoping to establish a new Council to include more races, not to have humanity take control. That's pretty ass. Since I had to go along with it I chose Anderson since Udina's a piece of shit.

Looking forward to starting ME2... right now. Gonna be a bitch to remake my Shep again on PS2:

Also, apparently the PS3 version of ME2 comes with a good chunk of its DLC already, enough that there seems to only be one missing. So, is Arrival worth the money?

Personally, I thought Arrival was the weakest of the "story" DLCs. I didn't regret buying it, but then again I'm a huge fan of ME1 and 2. But it didn't wow me like Lair of the Shadow Broker and Overlord did.

Arrival was a clear sign of things to come. You totally get that streamlined feeling. You want choices? Yeah, it doesn't matter. How badly? Well regardless what you do, you buy the same X amount of time, the same result and ME 3 starts with the exact same thing beyond Shepard saying one line differently as a off comment.

I just got the DLC that I hadn't had for my re-play of 2 so i can play 3 with my own Shapard. I should have cloud saved my save files....

I figured if I was going to replay 2, I may as well get all the extra DLC. I haven't done Shadow Broker or Arrivals yet, but JESUS CHRIST is Overlord one of the best things I've played in a while.

The little woman practically threw a party when I finally beat Skyrim.

I told her about the upcoming DLC last week... she was not happy.

I saved the main quest for last. Did everything else until it repeated. I only flaked on a couple quests because they were broken and I couldn't even jump-start them with console commands (there were many that I was able to fix with console setstage commands). I was level.. 63? 65? I think? Not 80, but to the point where improves came slow as hell. As far as I'm concerned, I have overcome all the challenges presented and even a few that weren't.

Started playing Tera during their open beta, which ran at the same time as Diablo 3's open beta. I really, really wanted to hate the game, but it turned out to be a lot more fun than I would have imagined and their "true action combat" schtick actually does make a difference. It'll be interesting to see what happens to the game after the official launch tomorrow.

For some reason this was downloading at a snail's pace for me and I never got to try the game out. It looks pretty entertaining, and seems to be taking Aion's current approach to MMO's as opposed to getting full Korean (few to no quests, grind mobs/gathering skills for xp). If D3 weren't out in a couple weeks I'd be really interested in picking it up.

The Steam sale this week reminded me that I bought Oblivion a while back, but never really got around to playing it. I fired it up once, played about 10 minutes of it, then dropped it and forgot about it. It just didn't grab me the way, say, Fallout 3 did.

Well, I just started it up again. This time I actually finished the tutorial, and now I can wander the city, but still... it's good, but not amazing yet. Though I suppose this is all I can settle for since I can't run Skyrim.

After beating Skyrim (same way Gas did, saved big quest for last) I have started playing through all 3 God of War games again. Still good.

I didn't find that to be the case myself. We bought the HD versions of 1 and 2, but after playing Bayonetta it all felt kinda lackluster.

I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles, for the Wii.

The game is really fantastic so far. I'm about 25 hours in, and feel like I've barely scratched the surface of the game.

Still working on Mass Effect but slowwwwly. >.>
Mike and I picked up Halo Anniversary! Originally he had me playing Reach since it's technically the first, but I wanted to play them in the same order he did, SO we are starting over again with classic Halo! :) I actually used to have a lot of fun with multi-player, even though I was god-awful. I couldn't move and shoot, didn't understand how to strafe, had trouble crouching, ran in circles a lot... but still had fun! But now I'm actually able to enjoy the game because I CAN move and shoot at the same time! ...but I do fall off a lot of cliffs...

I also picked up Lego Harry Potter (years 1-4) and got through it in 5 days. I'm a sucker for simple games. Love them. Finished with just 39%... went through 3 levels again, bought a lot of things, and now I'm at 52%. Still a log ways to go, but I love the game so it's a-okay!

Aaaand I'm also playing Super Princess Peach! Holy crap this game is fun! The emotion gimmick is okay, I don't love it, but it's nice to play a Mario game again. :3

Love you heatherling , I really do. Remember that....

I know you're not claiming to be hardcore, but I couldn't resist;)

XD Ha! yeah, I'm definitely not hardcore! I'm awful at FPS, I really am, but I enjoy them anyway. Love the mindless collection games (Kirby Epic Yarn!), love puzzle and rhythm games, miss 2d side scrollers, love Nintendo (DKC may be my fav series of all time... Or top 3...), and I love the crap out of my handhelds!

Actually, I think she was saying you're an actual gamer girl, unlike someone just playing Angry Birds.

Never played it.

I dunno man, I'm still enjoying the HD versions. Kind of a nice mindless enjoyment/slaughter after 5 months of Skyrim.
