2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine

Some apologists have been trying to say that "Signature Unclear" is actually a secret Nazi signature they use whenever they carry out crimes. It's kind of sad.

LoL

Like...why sign anything at all? That's "everyone in our secret gang has the same tattoo" levels of dumb. Like don't these people realize that if it looks like bad TV it's probably not real? Or are they banking on others to say "damn this is like some good ass TV so it must be real"

The amount of people raised on TV and yet still believing so much B-rate stuff is astounding.
People have seemingly lost their ability to think critically.

There's some conjecture that they're fucking up on purpose to spite Putin. Sort of a "malicious compliance" extreme.
Could be they’re trying to get taken off the Ukrainian desk so they aren’t the ones catching a bullet when the dust settles. Or could be the FSB isn’t the kind of organization that rewards asking clarifying questions.

Even an indirect hit can spark a chain reaction, igniting all the ammunition at once and decapitating the vehicles dubbed 'mobile coffins' by Western military experts.

The 'jack-in-the-box effect' has contributed to the devastating loss of up to 970 Russian tanks, the Ukrainian military claims.
Video included in article.

That aerial shot of the tank turret hundreds of feet away from the destroyed tank is like the ultimate sign of Russian military might.

Problem there being that while individuals may well not be all that belligerent, they've been force-fed misinformation for years, and their world view is now hopelessly warped by fake news and manipulation through the media.

...oh wait, I thought we were talking about Republicans. Sorry! Yeah, there may still be hope for Russians.

Finland has declared its intention to join NATO.

Russia has responded that they consider this a threat and will have repercussions etc etc.

So: neighbor of Russia does something they don't like = it's a threat
neighbor of Finland does something they don't like = they should roll over and take it and not meddle in "internal" affairs.

Ah yes, logic.

Yep. In the eyes of the NeoUSSR, other countries are either prey or threat. There is no third classification. You are either a prize to be taken, or an enemy engaged in active hostilities.
