I'm guessing it's that there's really more than 37 cases. We have curfew now. We have 37 cases. I feel there's something they aren't telling us.
Either that, or there's a cover-up that the town is secretly out of toilet paper.

I guess social distancing is what I already do, so it felt like I needed to step things upIt isn't quarantine, it is social distancing. Limit contact, not eliminate it.
Spend the whole time coughing and asking them to turn down the thermostat. And despite that we've all worked from home previously, without issue, can be trusted to do so without it impacting performance, we're being required to go in tomorrow. This is actually really frustrating me now. Especially because we got the "Our employee's safety speech is our number 1 priority" on a company-wide meeting Thursday.
From personal experience, I can say that schools and call centers are basically giant incubators. From the short time I worked in schools for my practicum, I think I got pink eye twice.I can tell you, the last call center I worked in (20 years ago) I got strep throat at least once a month.
I say look at it as an opportunity to catch up on games and movies/shows. Quarantine binge, baby!Went to work. Said I was drinking a tea because I have a throat ache and my sinuses are acting up. Got sent home right away, doctor quarantined me for 7 days. No Corona symptoms at all (it's probably either my allergies or my bi-yearly sinus infection flare up) but no risks and anyone with any respiratory issues has to go into quarantine. Oh well.
Well, yes, up to a point. I get to disinfect the bathroom twice daily, and clean all common areas, every day, and I'm not allowed to sleep in one bed (or even one bedroom) with my gf, so that kind of puts a damper on things, but I am indeed a lucky one who us quarantined without any serious problems.I say look at it as an opportunity to catch up on games and movies/shows. Turn UP the thermostat. With a fever you feel cold. Right?Spend the whole time coughing and asking them to turn down the thermostat.
Both are possible. I've been freezing, I've been burning up when I have a fever.Turn UP the thermostat. With a fever you feel cold. Right?
I'm sitting at my desk right now.It is intensely stupid that we're in the office right now, but that's part the course here.
I have been talking a Claritin-D anytime there is any chance I will be interacting with people because if I don't I look like a watery mess.Went to work. Looks like international travel bans and no one not a Canadian or PR of Canada is allowed in the country, except a few exemptions including US citizens. Feels like too little, hopefully not too late. The community spread now is my biggest concern personally. This does little to nothing to address that.On our side, Trudeau is making an announcement at 10 am pst, one that's pushing back our own provincial health minister's daily announcement an hour.
Really hoping and expecting that we're getting to lock down point finally.
And today, IT has been deemed "essential personnel" and so I have to be at work while everyone else is out. Which, honestly, I am ok with for now. It will allow me to get a lot of the bigger issues taken care of while all the teachers are out.An hour or so later, SC Governor declares schools closed until the end of the month.
